I am growing increasingly worried the longer this drags on. Why have we not realeased any of the dead wood atleast?

I understand they need holidays but with so many other clubs doing buisness early i am on edge. We really do NOT need to be panic buying

come August which would be disastrous. Is ther any solid info on players seen at the ground?

Staying positive though.

Man we don't need more threads asking why there aren't any threads about new signings, or new threads about the deadwood being shipped out.

Certain players are on too much money. This means not only can we not just release them, but other clubs won't take them either.

 

Also, I wouldn't worry too much yet. It's still post-season really, we're still in June.

We can't buy until we sell and we can't sell in part due to the contracts they're on & secondly until the DoF is in place & up to speed.

Look no further than previous management dishing out silly contracts... Or current administration shuffling the board as to why there's not been any goings so as to provide incomes for arrivals.

The only player they could have released, Logan has signed a new contract. Maybe you should visit other clubs forums and ask them why their clubs aren't buying our deadwood.

In summer 2011, our first summer signing was 22nd June.  We went on to sign 12 players that summer in all.

 

There was this amount of panic on this day in 2011 as well.

I Keane think of a few players that Michael be joining, I think one of them drives a Honda. Crashed it a few months ago as he was driving into a chiKane but the person he hit didn't Suso it was all alright in the end.

people are saying theres no worry its only june , firstly loads of clubs have already dibbed into the market and got players they wanted , transfer window will always be bad under pearson 1.scouting network cant be very good if he buys players that are worse than we have got 2.he's tight with money 3.he doesn't have a lot to offer players when they want to come here , I expect one maybe two signings this summer and I don't expect them to be good ones sorry its negative but my opinion

We clearly need to offload before we can buy, which I don't mean to sound negative but is a major issue as imo we need to add around 5-6 new players to the squad to make us a top two team. There is no way we are favourite to get promoted based on our current squad. Still looking forward to giving it another bash maybe a play off final win!

Pearson's remit seems to be to trim the wage bill, that has to happen first - financial sanity has to prevail.  While we may have missed a target or two by the time this happens there will still be lots of players avaiable. 

 

1.  Scouting network bad?  Morgan, Knocky, James, Keane and Wood, De Leat were all good additions, admittadly Vardy / Fuctas / Whitbread are question marks.

2.  See the the trim the wage bill point and I think this is really down to the owners not Pearson

 

I'm not blind to Pearson's weaknesses but I think he is pretty good in the transfer market
