Matt Gillies leads Leicester City out at Wembley

As part of the celebrations of the 125th Anniversary of The Football League, supporters across the country are to be given a chance to vote for their club’s greatest ever.

In what is the biggest supporter vote ever undertaken by The Football League, votes will be run on a weekly basis on The League’s new 125th anniversary microsite atwww.FL125.co.uk.  The votes will be done on a club-by-club basis, with each club submitting their own shortlists.

Over the coming weeks, the series of votes will cover;

·    Best Manager

·    Best Player

·    Best Season

·    Best Captain

·    Fans Favourite

·    Best Game

The first vote, for each club’s best ever manager, will open on Tuesday 16 July, with a new topic being opened for voting atwww.FL125.co.ukeach Tuesday.

Over the coming weeks Leicester City will be asking supporters to help us with our shortlists and we begin this week by asking for your suggestions as to who we should put forward as the club’s greatest ever manager from our time in The Football League.

To suggest a name, tweet @OfficialFoxes using #FL125 and #GreatManagers. We'll then pick our top ones to put forward for voting. We’ll let you know when the vote is live next week, as well as how you can help suggest names for the next shortlist.

That's the one that always sticks out for me, I was only 7 and had been going down for a couple of years but it was the night I really fell in love with the football club. The place was absolutely rocking, I've never seen anything like it before.

Not my words, just the words of anyone who doesn't think NP is the worst manager of all time and we are definitely getting relegated next season.

Pearson isn't the worst manager of all time and we aren't definitely getting relegated?
