I lost complete faith in him. Never wanted to see him play for us again. But I hope he proves me wrong the beautiful bastard.

 

And me, i've always said it.

 

Yeah i've said I don't want him to play and i've said it today, not hiding from that, however 1 goal won't change that for me, if it continues it will change but one swallow doesn't make a summer, some people need to remember that. As I said if it continues i'll have been proven wrong and i'll be more than happy to have been proven wrong.

The amount of stick he got on this forum when we were linked with him and then he eventually signed was disgusting. I always stuck up for him, could be his season just needs a little bit of confidence.

 

Me to, when he first signed I really want him to do well, our rags to riches story, other clubs do it and they turn into really good players, I gave him half a season, he was awful, I said loan him out, he was persisted with, I got angry with it and wanted him out, like I say i'll be more than happy to be proved wrong and hey atleast i'm honest enough to admit when i'm wrong, as far as i'm concerned i'm not wrong yet, hopefully I will be though.
