emmo1987 Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 What has knockaert done to warrant starting? Just curious ? -----------kasper---------- de laet Moore Morgan schlupp ---Drinkwater king james--- ----------nugent----------- ---------wood---vardy------ Logan, bakayogo, dyer, waghorn, knockaert, danns, marshall
Monsell1976 Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 0-0, same as I predicted Saturday, and like being wrong, as long as the results the right way. Would like to play 4-4-2 at home, play it most of the season at home last season, and we did well enough.( well for the best part)
XLM Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Without Redmond and Davies they're relying on an ancient striker in Lee Novak - the type of player that I would imagine Wes likes playing against. They don't look convincing at all, and we really should shaft them.. 6-1 city.
TrentFox Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Brum are shit, I've lost money on consecutive weeks having them in 'both teams to score' Can you guess what I'm thinking when I read that, re this week ?!!!
Yojoe36 Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Kasper RDL Morgan Moore Baka Knocky James King Schlupp Nugent Vardy 2-0 Birmingham
blueblood88 Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Schmeichel De Laet Moore Morgan Bakayogo Drinkwater King James Knockaert Vardy Nugent Subs: Logan, Whitbread, Schlupp, Marshall, Dyer, Wood, Waghorn. 2-1 City, Nugent and King with ours, couldn't name one of their lot.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Kasper Miquel Morgan Moore Drinky De Laet King James Schlupp/Zoom Vardy Nugent
Finnaldo Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 I'd go for what I said before the Derby game, 3-4-1-2. Think it'll be a genuine threat if we play Knockaert in the free role. I'd go with... Schmeichel Moore - Morgan - Miquel De Laet - James - King - Schlupp Knockaert Nugent - Vardy So basically what I said for Derby. It's a more attacking formation. These are absolutely nothing special at all, anything other than a win wouldn't be good enough for me. Think we'll do it too, 2-0 win. This.Heart says 2-0 Leicester, head says 1-0 Brum
Guest Col city fan Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 4-4-2 at home for me Dyer on the left, Knocky right Vardy, Nuge up top 3-1 Leicester
Wakeyfox Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Reckon we'll cruise this, Brum are dogshit. 4-0 to us and two of their lot sent off.
whoareyaaa Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Same team as Derby maybe bring in Knockeart for one of the strikers and put him in the middle. Should be a comfortable result for us, Birmingham have lost some key players and don't look great. 3-0 Vardy, Nugent x2
cjslcfc Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 4-4-2. Nuge and Vardy up top, Schlupp LB, King and James in middle, Knocky on right, dyer on left. Rest as you were... 3-0 win. Nuge with 2, Vardy with the other.
Renart Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 4-3-3. Schmeichal De Laet Moore Morgan Schlupp James Drinkwater King Nugent Vardy Wood Subs: Miquel, Logan, Marshall, Waghorn, Dyer, Knocky, Baka 3-1.
ozleicester Posted 20 August 2013 Posted 20 August 2013 Pearson needs to pick a side to go out and dominate Brum, Being careful was understandable for durty leeds, 1st home game, good side and all that. But we need to show sides we can give them a battering at home so they re-think about parking the bus. Knocky and Dyer to start and a confident and attractive 3-0 please.
HoustonFox Posted 20 August 2013 Posted 20 August 2013 Same starting XI as Derby. Not sure how Knocky fared tonight in U21s attitudewise. Seem to be mixed reports ranging from decent to wildly extravagant and a bit moody. Wish they had full coverage of those games on FoxesPlayer as well as full match reruns of th league games.
David Posted 20 August 2013 Posted 20 August 2013 Playing 3 at the back unless you are by far the better team or have 3 exceptional defenders is not good
David Posted 20 August 2013 Posted 20 August 2013 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 I think suits us well. DeLaet Morgan Moore Schlupp - is a good back 4 with attacking full backs King Drinkwater Nugent Knockaert Marshall Wood
Bettsj2 Posted 20 August 2013 Posted 20 August 2013 Agree with earlier posts that its really refreshing that we cant actually predict the line up or formation to any great accuracy at the minute. My side would be: - Kasper RDL. Moore. Wes. Konch Knocky. King. DD. Dyer Vardy. Nuge
loAf Posted 20 August 2013 Posted 20 August 2013 442 for me at home, served us well last year, infact we were pretty much unbeaten until our blip for final third of the year. Kasper RDL Morgan Whitbread Konch/(schlupp) Marshall King James Dyer Vardy Nugent Bench: Miquel, Zoom, DD, Knocky, Wood, (schlupp), Logan 3-1
LCFC FOX Posted 20 August 2013 Posted 20 August 2013 Schemeichel De Laet Moore Morgan Koncheskey James Drinkwater Marshall King Knockaert Nugent Subs; Logan, Whitbread, Schlupp, Danns, Gallagher, Waghorn, Wood
Callabinho Posted 20 August 2013 Posted 20 August 2013 He will start 4-3-3 with the same line up that beat Derby!
