SmithyFox12 Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 I'd keep the same team that started against Derby. 2-0 City (Vardy and King).
Lionator Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Brummies are a poor side. Anything less than double figures then #PearsonOut!
TrentFox Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 I'm quite liking the fact that I have absolutely no idea what team or formation we're going to go for.
kingfox Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Time to change formation and play Knockaert. Schmeichel Moore - Morgan - Whitbread De Laet - Drinkwater - King - Schlupp Knockaert Vardy - Wood Subs - Logan, Miquel, Bakayogo, James, Dyer, Nugent, Waghorn 2-0 win!
NewburyFox Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 I'm quite liking the fact that I have absolutely no idea what team or formation we're going to go for. I was thinking this. 3-5-2, 4-3-1-2 (like against Derby), 4-4-2? I have no idea what we will play, which is rather weird for a Nigel Pearson team!
Xen Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Time to change formation and play Knockaert. Schmeichel Moore - Morgan - Whitbread De Laet - Drinkwater - King - Schlupp Knockaert Vardy - Wood Subs - Logan, Miquel, Bakayogo, James, Dyer, Nugent, Waghorn 2-0 win! This, but I'd switch Miquel for Whitbread and I'm not sure on the strikers... Would probably drop Dyer from the bench for Marshall though, if he's fit. Love a 3-4-1-2, especially with a creative player like Knockaert in behind the strikers.
Happy Fox Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 I would go with a 4-4-2 at home, playing 3-5-2 we won't score many goals imo. Kasper De Laet Morgan Moore Bakayogo Knockaert King Drinkwater Schlupp Nugent Wood Subs: Miguel, Whitbread, Vardy, James, Dyer, Logan and Waghorn.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 I like the 3-5-2 formation, but we look so much safer at the back with a 4. Not sure on this one to be honest.
kingfox Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 This, but I'd switch Miquel for Whitbread and I'm not sure on the strikers... Would probably drop Dyer from the bench for Marshall though, if he's fit. Love a 3-4-1-2, especially with a creative player like Knockaert in behind the strikers. It's gotta be done sooner or later especially at home. Adds more creativity, and hopefully more fluency as we lacked that against Leeds, we seemed a bit slow and defensive at times. James has been carrying a knock some people say, so I would drop him, King and Drinkwater have played better than James in the first few games in my opinion.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 This is the first one where I actually think we will win out of the ones so far this season so I can see us ballsing this one up
SmithyFox12 Posted 19 August 2013 Author Posted 19 August 2013 Don't see any reason why anyone would think of dropping Jamie Vardy..
Fox92 Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Same team. Why would you want to change any of it? The front three did well although they didn't score, against Derby. Both Vardy and Nugent work hard and their pace causes problems. I certainly don't want to see them dropped, especially for Knockaert. I'd imagine Birmingham will come and try to get in our faces etc.
Leicesterpool Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 I've horrible feeling its going to be 1-4 Birmingham or 4-1 to us Team- 4-4-2 Kasper Moore Morgan Whitbread Bakayogo James King De Laet Schlupp Vardy Wood Bench: Logan, Miquel, Marshall, Danns, Dyer, Knockaert & Nugent.
nickelbyfox Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 I would like to see the 3-5-2 or whatever you want to call it with the right players Kasper Moore Morgan Miquel De Laet Schlupp/Bakayago Drinky James King Knocky (free role) Vardy Wood And if things do not go well in the first half - change the system at half time
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 I would like to see the 3-5-2 or whatever you want to call it with the right players Kasper Moore Morgan Miquel De Laet Schlupp/Bakayago Drinky James King Knocky (free role) Vardy Wood And if things do not go well in the first half - change the system at half time We better win if we play 12 players!
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 3-5-2 for me, too. Schmeichel Moore Morgan Miquel De Laet King Drinkwater Bakayogo Knockaert Wood Vardy 2-0 decent win for us. Vardy and Knockaert to score.
Tielemans63 Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Brum are a pretty defensive side from what I've seen and we sometimes struggle to break down sides that sit deep. I'm predicting a frustrating draw, 1-1 / 0-0.
Dan Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 I'd go for what I said before the Derby game, 3-4-1-2. Think it'll be a genuine threat if we play Knockaert in the free role. I'd go with... Schmeichel Moore - Morgan - Miquel De Laet - James - King - Schlupp Knockaert Nugent - Vardy So basically what I said for Derby. It's a more attacking formation. These are absolutely nothing special at all, anything other than a win wouldn't be good enough for me. Think we'll do it too, 2-0 win.
RonnieTodger Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Should smack these, but it'd be just like us to piss about. I'll say 2-0 though. Same line-up as Dan LCFC
nickelbyfox Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 3-5-2 for me, too. Schmeichel Moore Morgan Miquel De Laet King Drinkwater Bakayogo Knockaert Wood Vardy 2-0 decent win for us. Vardy and Knockaert to score. Hahaha yes so not 12 but this - not sure who to drop between the three mids King, James and Drinkwater
lgfualol Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 4-3-1-2 Kasper De Laet Moore Morgan Baka James Drinkwater King Nugent Wood Schlupp Subs: Miquel, Logan, Marshall, Waghorn, Vardy, Danns, Knocky 2-0
RowlattsFox Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 I think we'll see same team as against derby, which will be ok aslong as we attack. Personally I'd go back to 442 at home to a poor Brum side. Kasper De laet Moore Morgan Schlupp Knockaert King Drinkwater Dyer Vardy Nugent Subs: Logan, miquel, bakayogo, James, Marshall, wood, waghorn
DennisNedry Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Brum are shit, I've lost money on consecutive weeks having them in 'both teams to score'
Nift Posted 19 August 2013 Posted 19 August 2013 Schlupp always scores against Brum, going 2-1 with Nugent with the other.
