Bob Weasel Fox Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 I'm going for a 2-1 win. Vardy & Nugent with our goals.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 I'm off this Saturday But I can't go to the game Arrrrggggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DennisNedry Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 A draw is a bad result, a loss is terrible. Pressure is on a bit for this, which probably means we'll fail.
Leicesterpool Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 Looking through this thread i keep noticing in people's team sheet prediction most of you keep placing Knocky in a central midfield role, why? Knocky is a place that need space like on the wing, putting him in the centre of midfield would mean he wouldn't have the time or space on the ball.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 23 August 2013 Posted 23 August 2013 That's an interesting one, the back three protected by a deep lying midfielder rather than two wing backs. Juventus play that formation and they play it extremely well - time for Drinkwater to become Pirlo The way Juve play it was my inspiration to have it fielded like that, I can't see it happening though sadly. The wing backs we have now, bar from Konch aren't exactly good at defending, Therefore Drinky, would be more useful in that role imo.
absolutelegend Posted 24 August 2013 Posted 24 August 2013 Same team as Derby for me....2-1 win for us, Nuge and Vardy. Excited for this one! Would be nice to win and put us nicely near the top. The early season momentum is crucial to us.
Guest Col city fan Posted 24 August 2013 Posted 24 August 2013 I have a feeling in mi water that today's the day we are gonna get a big result. Four-nil to Leicester. Nuge with two, Vardy and King.
Scoobyrob Posted 24 August 2013 Posted 24 August 2013 We've put together a squad worth a few quid on decent wages which have or should have gelled. Brum have been selling like mad to survive, have made many cheap signings on lower wages and have only played a handful of games together. It's games like this which should tell us how far we have come. Going for a 3 - 1 win, hopefully Nugent, Wood and Vardy scoring.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 24 August 2013 Posted 24 August 2013 I have a feeling in mi water that today's the day we are gonna get a big result. Four-nil to Leicester. Nuge with two, Vardy and King. Hope your right ColThink it might be a bit tighter myself
MANFACE Posted 24 August 2013 Posted 24 August 2013 3 - 5 - 2 5 - 0 to Leicester. Vardy hat-trick Wood Nugent
Danizen Posted 24 August 2013 Posted 24 August 2013 All this talk of giving Birmingham a hiding seems ominous to me. 1-1 draw.
LCFC FOX Posted 24 August 2013 Posted 24 August 2013 0-3 Birmingham Pearson sacked because all the fans want him gone. Steve Mcclaren appointed new manager and brings in Boateng as his first signing
Gazza M Posted 24 August 2013 Posted 24 August 2013 Like everyone else, I have no idea what formation we are likely to play! I have a feeling we may go back to 3-5-2, but I think Knockaert is too effective to be left out for too long, so I would him to play behind the front two in an attempt to make us more of an attacking threat. Kasper Schlupp Whitbread Morgan Moore De Laet Drinkwater King Knockaert Vardy Nugent Subs: Logan, Miquel, Bakayogo, Dyer, James, Waghorn, Wood
Guest Col city fan Posted 24 August 2013 Posted 24 August 2013 Hope your right Col Think it might be a bit tighter myself Could be just wishful thinking buddy...
lc4lcfc Posted 24 August 2013 Posted 24 August 2013 I hope we do as well as everybody seems to think we will but I think this is the sort of match i think we will struggle to get going in again.. Especially with the pressure to do something after the last home game. I'm going for a score draw, knockaert on the bench playing a 433. Hope I'm wrong and we thrash them though
NewburyFox Posted 24 August 2013 Posted 24 August 2013 @StringerSport: Heard a whisper that Wes Morgan may be out of the #lcfc game against Birmingham. Be a massive loss if so
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 24 August 2013 Posted 24 August 2013 Could be just wishful thinking buddy... Just realised what I said That's watching babe station for you buddy
The People's Hero Posted 24 August 2013 Posted 24 August 2013 I predict an awful game with loads of effort and precious little quality. Nil-Nil or a one-nil either way Any goal(s) as the result of defensive errors, a long throw in to the box or set piece. Due a goalkeeping howler from Schmeichal. Maybe a 'world class' goal against us from 30yards + which he obviously 'had no chance with'.
whoareyaaa Posted 24 August 2013 Posted 24 August 2013 Should win this today and with 4 scrappy performances I can see Brum being on the end of a drubbing.
