Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 God knows what Xabi was thinking the doughnut, I absolutely love the man but that was stupid, Ancelotti would probably have taken him and Ramos off at half time as well. This isn't just because Xabi will miss the Final, but does anyone think the ruling should be changed for semi finals in Europa League, Champions League, European Championships and World Cups for second yellows? I think the yellow card ruling should be scrapped and you should only miss the final if you are sent off. But he is still a Champions League winner after all..

Dan Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 i sometimes think guardiola/barca/spain sometimes try and prove a point in situations like this by continuing to pass it around as if some time tomorrow will do. they need 5 goals and they're still refusing to shoot or run with the ball. just daft and i hope it ends about 16-0. I agree mate and I've defended how they play a hell of a lot. I think one thing to consider about Bayern is that they're going through a big transition. They will improve under him but I can't help but feel he's nullified the deadliest attack on the planet in favour of a slower build up game which simply isn't made for their current crop. I know it sounds horribly reactionary but they've been absolutely embarrassed here. They've been sussed IMO. The play acting from Real is getting beyond a joke here, do they have to do it at 3-0 up? It makes me laugh when people criticise Barcelona for it in El Clasico. This lot are the worst side for it going bar no-one.
