Roger Posted 2 September 2013 Share Posted 2 September 2013 The local sports presenter on Radio Humberside has just retweeted someone saying the following: @HullCityLive: From BBC: Rumours in Leicester that David Nugent is Forest bound, but only if former striker Matty Fryatt returns to the Foxes. #HCAFC

Jace Posted 2 September 2013 Share Posted 2 September 2013 Never thought I would say this but if Nugent goes would say Fryatt would be a excellent choice to replace him would work well upfront with Wood and Vardy I think

theessexfox Posted 2 September 2013 Share Posted 2 September 2013 This is the perfect day for Nuge's missus to go into labour.
Carl the Llama Posted 2 September 2013 Share Posted 2 September 2013 Nahki Wells won't be available for £750k, he'll probably go for more than Nuge. They're saying £4mil on BBC and apparently Watford are interested. That's from a text though so I'd sprinkle it with a fair amount of salt. Finn Claw II Posted 2 September 2013 Share Posted 2 September 2013 £2.5m given where we are is a lot of cash. Given that Vardy, Wood, Waghorn and Schlupp all have yet to prove their consistency selling is a big gamble.

One of Nuge's main attributes is his pace, something Fryupp has none of
StanSP Posted 2 September 2013 Share Posted 2 September 2013 Keep Nugent. Don't necessarily need Doyle if he stays. Really don't need Fryatt. Not keen on Fryatt returning.

Leicester_Numan Posted 2 September 2013 Share Posted 2 September 2013 Can't see Hull letting us have Fryatt anyway, any other club yes, but not us.
tomtom Posted 2 September 2013 Share Posted 2 September 2013 **** knows why I'm posting this as I'll probably be abused by someone for it, but I've just been told by a current lcfc employee(sorry but I'm staying vague) that they expect Nugent to stay put, and Waghorn to join wolves as part of a player plus cash deal for Kevin Doyle! Make of it what you will

Fmfox Posted 2 September 2013 Share Posted 2 September 2013 I still think that Waghorn and Wood have good potential. They both need a run of games and some confidence, but with them + Vardy firing we could have a decent attack without Nuge. Still hope he stays. Make of it what you will Rumours of Doyle are very strong, and I'm not trying to rubbish your info, but it seems totally inconsistent with all our other dealings which have FFP firmly in mind. Doyle is reputed to be on 40K a week at Wolves and refusing to take a pay cut. If true, how the hell could we afford him (even if Nugent went)? If wolves need to reduce their wages they may pay a percentage of Doyle's wages.
