Gallagher going out on loan?

It's ok for you lot to give him stick on here, you are all wanabees

Precisely. I think we'd all wanabee a professional footballer. No one is going to argue that. Yet though I don't agree with all the stick Gally receives, though he is a professional sportsman who should expect some grief from a minority should they feel aggrieved by his attitude, or his play. This is football forum brfc24, if you, or any of the footballers who are paid by the club we support want nothing but praise and adulation then coming to a fan's forum is not the place to go I'm afraid - nor twitter for that matter.

Like I said, I wish him all the best if he manages a move. It'll probably be the best for him, the club, and his family too.

Good post Spherical, ran out of +1's.

Reading Twitter these days the footballers are the ones who come across as the biggest wannabes.

I know a guy who got a three year contract with a big championship club before wrecking his knees. He now works an ordinary job but can't let go of the footballer lifestyle. He's up to his eyes in debt funding a £700k property, new plate £40k car every year, splashing £2k on suits, flying off to the Bahamas for a weekend break in a five star hotel and on and on. These championship footballers live a lifestyle well beyond what they can actually afford. They're all wannabee Christiano Ronaldo's. Wouldn't be surprised to see Raindrops and Gallagher working as refuse collection agents by the time they hit 40.

When he and Danns are gone we can finally wave goodbye to the overpaid contract nonsense era for good, I can't wait.

It's a lone not a transfer will only saves us about 2k a week if he is off to pne. And guessing he'll be back for the xmas do.

More to the point, he actually told a fan on twitter that he was milking the club- or words to that effect. He might be getting paid more than us 'wanabe's', but I can tell you that 80% of this forum act more professionally in every day life than your Gally, and they don't get a kings ransome to do it. That attitude fvcking stinks, that's why he gets stick.

And the worst thing? You try to tell a footballer that and all they do us write a tweet saying something like 'haters gonna hate', only to get a stream of people telling them things like 'wish you were in the first team' or 'just ignore them Gally #leicesterlegend', which inflates the ego even further.

Wouldn't you hate it if someone in the squad who admitted to leeching off the club? Jokes, Ben Marshall just signed for your club lol lol

Anyway, Gally was a good servant until his Twitter comment. All the best.

I bet you sit there sucking his ginger balls and milk him for money. Tell me I'm wrong.

Yes your correct we all want to play for our beloved club and give our all.

And no we are not good enough your correct.

But what we do do as fans is pay on the gate and contribute towards his wages.

And doing so we have a right to call a spade a spade or in Gally's case most of the time a lump hammer.

Yes at times he shows class but sorry to say most of the time he don't give a toss.

But why should he on his wage you may ask.

ANSWER The fans are fvcking paying towards it and want and deserve better.

Ps 2-1 now fvck off home

Until this thread I had forgotten the bloke existed.

Let's just hope the rest of the football world haven't, because that contract will end eventually.

Gallagher is a shit **** and so is his father in law and if given the opportunity I would happily tell them in person. Worst that can happen is a scrap and I'd love a pop at ruining his hair.

Letting our version of David Beckham go, will have serious consequences.

Best right foot in the division.

It would make no difference to the team if he stays or leaves because either way he won't be playing for us this season, just as he did last season.

We won't be even slightly weaker if he leaves let alone the "serious consequences" that you describe.

Of course it would make a difference whether he stays or goes. That's a ridiculous thing to say.

If he goes we possibly could get a loan signing in who would offer us more on the pitch than that greedy, lazy **** does.

If he stays it's doubtful at getting another player in and we carry on paying the stupidly high wages that he receives for not doing anything.

I didn't see anything on Twitter, what was said?

He said I've got nothing to prove to anyone I'm a well established professional, people know what I can do and bring to a team blah blah blah. Who does he think he is Ronaldo? He's won **** all in his career and doesn't even get on the bench. Anyway someone told him he was crap and was never gonna get back into the team and he said "I don't care ££££, 2 years left on my contract". Then he started getting a boat load of stick so deleted the tweet, bottled it and grovelled an apology along the lines of "I will always give the best for the club etc"

I was responding to what Kingfox was saying about missing him in the team.

I was going to get onto the wages thing afterwards but I wanted to make it clear that Gallagher's 'contributions' would not be at all missed if he were to leave.

Has anyone got the lyrics to Raindrops? I'm gonna sing it at the end of season player awards.

Not everyone gives him stick so don't forget that.

You're certainly not helping his cause with the way you're acting though.
