I think Sturridge would have something to say about that 16 goals/Assists in his last 11 games...

Honestly you're so lucky to have Ramsey and Bale playing for you. Wales get a decent manager and they stay fit and Wales could be the next Belgium.

Behave yourself. They are two oustanding talents but the rest of their squad is the absolute bins. Belgium have 5 or 6 world class players right now and several others that are very, very good. Wales have two and I can see Bale being like Giggs where he's often missing from his national squad unless the games are of the most importance.

Bale has given Wales 110% so far. Unless Real Madrid gets to his head I can't see that.

Belgium do have a much better back four than us, much better striking options and a better gaffer though. Coleman is toss and our best number nine is probably Sam ****ing Vokes.

Hugo Sanchez in "Arsenal are playing spectacular again" bum-shocker. lol

Where were you when they were "only" finishing third or fourth in the years to follow their last title roughly ten years ago?

But in all honesty, it's good to see Arsenal back up there.

Wenger doesn't have the amount of titles of a Sir Alex Ferguson, but his winning percentage record, the Arsenal youth system setup as well as the club's buying and selling policy is outstanding.

The happy Wenger is always more enjoyable than the whiny one.

I would personally find it hard to get carried away about a team who's toughest game this season has been Spurs at home, that's just me though.

Yeah Ramsey has been fantastic this season, still wouldn't put him in the top 10 in the League, players have form, if and it is a massive if at that, if Ramsey carries this kind of form on until the end of the season then you can class him as a world class footballer, not after 3 months of a season, sorry that is just absurd.

Two players don't make a team.

Throughout history wales have always had one or two world class players, Southall, Giggs, Rush, Hughes to name a few recently but have never come close to doing anything. I think 94 was the closest they came to qualifying with a much better side than they have now, Wales will always be a side that can beat top teams if the top team doesn't turn up but will always struggle to qualify for a major tournement

If everyone turns up, this is comfortably the best team of my lifetime.

It's a bit shorter in depth than 03 and not quite as physical but much more skilful and creative.

We have the same problem we did then, though, no natural finisher to put them away. Like then, goals will come from the midfield (Bale instead, of Giggs, Ramsey instead of Davies) but Vokes is about as blunt as Big John.

I personally don't think a season is enough. 5 seasons before you can seriously be called 'world class', for me.

World class is the top, absolutely untouchable and there should be no more than about 10/15 players that should be considered it. Over-used phrase.

Why not dan ? Atm Ramsey certainly on form is better then Messi and Ronaldo. Wait till tonight, when he puts in a excellent display against some no mark German team.

Too right.

You need to be talking up their with the very very best for at least 3-4 seasons before being described as such.

As for Wales they'll still fail, Bale and Ramsay would grace most international sides but the defence and attack is going to be a huge problem.

The defense should be fine. Collins and Williams are solid premiership players, Taylor, Davies, Matthews, Gunter and co are all reasonable top flight quality fullbacks. I also rate Boaz Myhill, to be fair.

We can easily field a back four that should compete with the likes of Croatia, Switzerland, Ukraine and the like. But these teams are well coached, well organized, well motivated. We look like a shambolic mess half the time.

I'd take our defense over Ireland's on paper but they love a clean sheet.

Very specific boundaries. The second Vardy smashed in his goal the other day, was he the best striker in the world for that minute?

Ramsey's got years to go before you can even put him in the same breath as players like Messi & Ronaldo. Granted, he's probably been the best player in the Premier League so far this season, but we're in October, it's nothing other than a sign.
