Meltonfossefox Posted 3 October 2013 Posted 3 October 2013 Again as per usual another pub debate that I'm sure has been done soooo many times so forgive me..... Best goal for you!!!!!! (Even if it wasn't great looking I.e net buster) I remember arriving at ewood park late at 80 mins....let in for free and 20 seconds later rooster scored to put us into playoffs. For net busters I loved collymores first of the hatrick
Meltonfossefox Posted 3 October 2013 Author Posted 3 October 2013 Also Thompson equaliser at wembley, birch v Leeds, and coatsworth v Luton and barnsley
Captain... Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 Walsh's second vs Derby Wembley 94 Claridge vs Palace Wembley 96 (best goal ever) Heskey vs Boro Wembley 97 Howard vs Leeds, not great goals , but so important
Aus Fox Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 Walshys header 3-3 v Arsenal, not a great goal or hugely impotent but we went mental when that went in! Also any of the wembley goals, Matt Elliott's thunder bolt against Sheff Wed just after the league cup win, which meant we were mathematically safe in the premiership first yer up.
foxfanazer Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 Can't get much better than Nalis against dirty Leeds
Albert Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 Lots to chose from. For the actual moments I would have to go for Tommo against Swindon, Walshies against Derby, Claridge Palace and Knocky against Forest. For actual ability Muzzy's overhead against Grimsby is one of the best goals I've seen. If Ronaldo or Messi had done it, it would go down of one of the best goals ever scored.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 Walsh v Derby play off final 1994 Claridge v Middlesboro League Cup Final 1997 Peake v Liverpool in the 80's Izzett v Spurs Late 90's early 2000 Tommo v Swindon Play Offs 1993 Elliott v Tranmere in 2000 cup final
Haydos Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 Nalis v Leeds if we're talking class. Claridge v Palace if we're talking pure pandemonium.
Fox92 Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 Izzet v Grimsby. A great goal and I was right behind it. Not many will beat that, for me.
Kitchandro Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 Izzaet v Grimsby Nalis v Leeds Weller v Luton Izzet v Spurs Top 4 in that order
Ric Flair Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 Izzet's vs Palace at Filbert St in injury time was pretty sweet, especially considering he was injured and wanted to come off. He evidently didn't want the ball and it was passed to him and he dropped the shoulder and hoofed the ball as far as possible away from him, it curled in the top corner and rescued us a point.

I remember that. I think that's my favourite ever, for the fact it was the last minute, he was hobbling, the finish was beautiful. I was 12 at the time and he was my hero.
Zingari Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 This is the best brace I've ever seen. And I'd love to say it was back in the day , but it's not http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zHF4qWUDXac
Vlad the Fox Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 A lot of my favourites have already been mentioned but the third against Cambridge, when that went in the party really began, was special.
Captain... Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 Gallagher's 2 thunderbolts against palace were pretty fvcking good, I know he's not very popular on here, but he scored some belters.
Kitchandro Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 Gallagher's 2 thunderbolts against palace were pretty fvcking good, I know he's not very popular on here, but he scored some belters. The 2nd in particular was as good a non-volley long range goal as I've seen. You could have had 3 keepers in that goal and it still would have gone past them all before they'd seen it.
RobHawk Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 For pure pandemonium the winner against tranmere in the 93/94 play off semi final comes to mind! David Speedie and his antics meant that last 10 minutes was insane!
whitlock Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 Knockys against Forest. Meant so much and the celebrations were just ridiculous. What a day that was
foxfanazer Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 Knockys scorpion kick against Huddersfield was ridiculous. Never seen anything like that before and certainly not from a city player
andog Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 A lot of my favourites have already been mentioned. Another from more recently though is Yakubu against Derby, absolutely quality control, turn and finish. Top notch!
The Doctor Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 Knockaerts v Huddersfield (both home and away) were absolutely stunning - scorpion kick was outstanding, the 40 odd yarder as good as anything Gallagher has produced and the first at home was sensational footwork.
Corky Posted 4 October 2013 Posted 4 October 2013 Yakubu's at Derby was wonderful, stunning technique. Muzzy's v Palace is right up there.
