GingerrrFox Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 Team we are likely to face: Pantilimon Richards Boyata Lescott Kolarov Milner Garcia Rodwell Jovetic Dzeko Negredo
Dan Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 Hart could play. There's every chance he'll be 2nd choice by then and they might give him a run out. Team we are likely to face: Pantilimon Richards Boyata Lescott Kolarov Milner Garcia Rodwell Jovetic Dzeko Negredo Frightening side considering the amount of players that rests.
MattyFromLE Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 It is what it is. Like many have said, this is what the Cup competitions are all about. If we win, it goes down as a great upset, massive boost for the lads, financial gains etc - we get into a semi-final etc. We lose, and well, we are expected to!
Craig Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 Hopefully a really terrible sleety, windy night. Leveller.
Kitchandro Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 If it's not on TV it's more likely to be a sell out so I'm not bothered.
wattolcfc Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 Any news on prices and when they go on sale? Got a feeling it's going to be a great atmosphere!
Uncle Albert Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 Great news if it's true that its not on TV.
Dan Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 Home tie is a the big thing and it's down to the fans and the club to make the place buzz, time to roll out the clappers ? It's good to be a foxes fan No, no and no.
AdamN Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 If we're seriously thinking about winning the cup then in all likelihood we'd have to face one of the 'big' teams along the way anyway. Might as well draw them at home and hopefully capitalise on our excellent record at the KP. Let's fucking do em!
woddyuk Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 How much more glamour do you want?. Call me old fashioned but despite their millions its still only Man City.. I remember them being relegated to what is now league 1.. I grew up when "big glamour" clubs were man utd liverpool spurs aresenal and even everton more than chelsea. Vvv.ManCity = big club, lots of money , some stars but hardly one id get an orgasm over... And we don't need to fear them.. They will be more nervous than we are.. IF/When we get promoted we need to take points of clubs like them at home to have a chance of staying up.. Or we can jist be like palace abd Blackpool.. Enjoy it for aseason and pay ott ticket prices like 60 quid at the emirates and come back down to Bournemouth and Brighton....
woddyuk Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 I see the club has a new name... We are not Leicester City anymore.. On ssn we're "Championship Leicester"
GingerrrFox Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 Some genius just told me he thinks this should be £10 a ticket so it will sell out. Poor Bastard. It will still sell out at £25. He hasn't got a chance.
ADK Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 I agree with not being massively excited about Man City. To me they are new money although I understand they were big historically too.
MrSpaM Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 Can't wait for this, got quite a few man city supporting mates so loads of banter. Love it!
Dan Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 I'm not certain it will and by that, I actually mean their fans. I can't see them bringing loads midweek especially if they're at Bayern 7 days before.
Mark_w Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 I see the club has a new name... We are not Leicester City anymore.. On ssn we're "Championship Leicester" I hate it when clubs are rebranded like this, they completely lose their identity. I mean seriously, what was wrong with 'Big Spending Leicester'?
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 Thrilling fixture. We've already ruffled their feathers in the cup and we've clearly got the ammunition to give it a real go and perhaps do the same as we did to Tottenham when DeVries momentarily became a man posessed. Life is all about living your dreams and in football terms there could surely be few better dreams than dumping the comparative superstars of Manchester City on the way to lifting the trophy. A full house, deafening support, some fast and threatening players of our own - what's not to look forward to? As for the other important games at the time ... we can just take one at a time and give our all to each. Happy days! Well said Thrac
Matt Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 Hmmmm shame, I fancied Stoke or Man Utd, I fear it could be the end of the road for us, however we're underdogs and we have nothing to lose, I certainly think we'll give them a match.
Guest Bilo Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 I can see us beating them if they don't play a full team. They brought a near full strength side in 2011, and we could have done them on another day. Bamba absolutely terrorised them from start to finish. If the atmosphere is as good in December as it was then, this should be something to relish. They've got Bayern away the week before followed by Arsenal at home, a tough old week followed by a bit-part team coming to a 32,000 capacity crowd where the players and fans are well and truly up for it. If Bradford could do Arsenal under similar circumstances, I don't see how we can write ourselves off doing the same.

Although I think we have a thread of our own outlining the tough period we have aswell. Like I said I think we'll give them a match, whether we'll win...hmmm, i'd be more confident should we have been playing Stoke or Man Utd. Anyway, it'll be good fun, it'll be interesting and anything can happen on the night!
Stadt Posted 31 October 2013 Posted 31 October 2013 Man City are having a marginally better season than Man U, we could do it!
