League Cup Quarter-Final - Man City at Home

Thrilling fixture. We've already ruffled their feathers in the cup and we've clearly got the ammunition to give it a real go and perhaps do the same as we did to Tottenham when DeVries momentarily became a man posessed.

Life is all about living your dreams and in football terms there could surely be few better dreams than dumping the comparative superstars of Manchester City on the way to lifting the trophy.

A full house, deafening support, some fast and threatening players of our own - what's not to look forward to?

As for the other important games at the time ... we can just take one at a time and give our all to each. Happy days!

A big away day in London would have been nice but we've had that in recent years and always lost. Our home form is sensational at the minute and Man City have proven to be vulnerable away from home. It's by no means a certain defeat. I can't believe people are moaning.

Let's fookin win this thing AGAIN

Hope for an away day against London teams so I can attend or a winnable home tie against Sunderland/Stoke etc. Didn't we ran them close couple of seasons back 4-2?

They've got Bayern Munich away the Tuesday before, Arsenal at home on the Saturday and then us on the Tuesday so hardly the best week for them either. That would definitely mean their better players would be rested and without Aguero kompany etc. we must have a chance.

It's a winnable game if things go in our favour - like a poster said earlier, Bradford dumped Arsenal out of the cup at this stage last season. Whilst I think Man City will be favourites, they certainly won't play many of their big guns. If we have that little bit of luck, they're not fully up for it because they think it's an easy game and a few crucial decisions go our way, who knows? Hopefully it will be a great occasion, we don't get embarrassed and continue our great home form. I'd love a full house that made the KP somewhat intimidating, sometimes wish the game was at Filbert Street as I really do think the proximity of the fans to the pitch unnerved opponents when the crowd was really up for it.

Would have liked an 'easier' tie at home, however, can we beat them, really? It is the Cup, and anything can happen. I might be thinking to much about this, but you only have to look at Bradford beating Villa and Arsenal last season.

Very surprised if that's true.

LEICESTER V CITY: Our #CapitalOneCup Quarter Final against the Foxes will take place on Tuesday 17 December, KO: 7.45 pm. Not on TV #mcfc

6:17am - 31 Oct 13

Very surprised if that's true.

Think we'd have been obvious choice, but with us playing Burnley on the Saturday before and QPR the Saturday after both on Sky. It might have been overkill.

Not sure about that, sky like all premiership games, just look at the ones they picked for the last round.

Good point actually.

Who thought David would kill off Goliath? Eleven men versus eleven men. There is always a chance of a real shock result.

I can't see us winning though to be really honest, but we can all live in hope.

I wasn't over the moon or disappointed with the draw because as far as I'm concerned, we ranked 8th out of the 8 remaining and we were underdogs no matter what.

Mind you, if our fans can't get up for this then I think they're the problem. This is a serious test.

I think we'll get soundly beaten but you never know - their defence is vulnerable away from home to say the least (3 at Villa, 3 at Cardiff) and am I right in saying they're yet to win a domestic away game under Pellegrini? We're very dangerous at home, too. I think we play a game that is very much suited to playing against sides that will attack us, we're lethal on the counter.

I expect to be hammered but to be honest even if we are, we've done far better than expected. This could be a special night.
