Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Wonderful goals. See them before, but always worth watching again and again.
Fox92 Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 I will never forget my trip to Blundell Park. I've liked Grimsby ever since... Probably the best goal I've ever seen live by, not just a Leicester player but, a Leicester City legend. Also, the emotion in Walsh's face when he scores against Arsenal is excellent. Great thing to see.

Great thing to see. Reminds me of Marco Tardelli. So much emotion. Izzet tries it after his volley vs Spurs but doesn't quite match it .
LCFC FOX Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 That Nallis volley is the best volley I have ever seen
The Quick Brown Fox Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Still surprises me that Hayles goal against palace ain't in there.
Munshi Posted 19 November 2013 Author Posted 19 November 2013 That Izzet goal... The pace on the cross is so much it would have been difficult to pull off a first time touch let alone Overhead kick into the top corner, that pisses on Rooney's one.
Guest Col city fan Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Cheers for that. Brought back some great memories. I was right behind the goal for Walshy's equaliser and we went completely bonkers. What a completely great player and servant Walshy was for the club! Nalis goal prob pick of the bunch for me. Fook knows how he scored that!

Great thing to see. I was there at the game when Muzzy scored. Me and a couple of mi mates did a little chuckle when we saw 'The Haddock Stand' (if my memory serves me rightly). Grimsby were a tidy little side back then.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 It's lacking Andy Peake's 40 yard screamer against Liverpool at Anfield in 1980. All the more memorable because Liverpool hadn't lost at Anfield in about 5-6 seasons, if I recall correctly, until that game. Probably my earliest memory of watching a superb City goal on TV. I often wonder what great goals were scored in the years before TV coverage that will never be seen again.

If I remember rightly, didn't Martin Henderson score as well?

Thought about this goal today when I saw the FA Trophy First Round draw with Coalville Town vs Grimsby Town on the list of fixtures!

Great thing to see. It was all aimed at Ian Wright

The only programme I have kept. We did do the double over them that season though. Of all the goals in the video. The only one I saw live was Cottee's at Old Trafford.
Fox92 Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 Any from March to May of this year? Yes. Knockaert.
Lionator Posted 19 November 2013 Posted 19 November 2013 The most remarkable moment in LCFC history...Gally winning a header to set up the Yak.
Uncle Monty Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 It was all aimed at Ian Wright Sounds like there's more to this story....
Ford Super Sunday Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 Why they felt the need to stretch a 4:3 picture to 16:9 is beyond me, looks so distorted. I'd rather the back lines down either side of the screen than the stretched version. Great goals and memories mind
Zingari Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 nice compilation my 3 favourites Nalis (21 secs) Izzet ( 1 min) Knockeart ( 2min 8s)
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 I can't believe i have missed so many of the recent ones gutting really. In terms of me being there to see it... Knocky at Forest Howard vs Leeds Joey G vs Hull If there is one goal i would pay to be there and see it, it would be Izzet at Grimsby fantastic goal that.
NewburyFox Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 No "that could be...the winner from Claridge...IT IS!! Stevie Claridge!"?
