The I Love Lloyd Dyer Thread.

Grown on me more than any player this season because he seems to have added substance. He looks so clumsy yet he's probably our most effective player because of his pace, his improved touch (when beating a man) and his end product. His finishing is still very inconsistent, but he's actually a very decent player, he's completely won me over this year.

Has anybody got the capabilities to make a Lloyd Dyer compilation on YouTube?

It's been tried but no cameras could keep up with him regularly, so sadly not :(

The best thing about Lloyd is that every time he gets the ball in the oppositions penalty area you expect him to miss, so when he scores it feels amazing. His tally is superb this season, he clearly has a high level of confidence  long may it continue.

Dyer's the ultimate professional to me and has been a fabulous long-term servant to our club.

Not only does he have pace and talent in abundance he shows it against every level of opponent and has an entirely positive attitude.

* He gives 100% whatever the opposition or the circumstances.

* He doesn't moan when he's on the bench or left out of the matchday squad.

* He scores goals

* He makes goals

* He works back when the ball's been lost.

* He doesn't risk losing the ball in the back third of the field but does the simple thing efficiently.

* He balances his individual ability with an ability to play within a team.

* He seems to genuinely enjoy being a footballer and playing for our club.

To me he's our number one player and in lots of aspects.

As a long time servant, you've surely got a nickname for him?

Just shows that attitude is just as important as ability.

Technically inferior to a lot of players in the league, but no one has a better attitude.

Would rather have him in the club than have to face him twice a season.

I'd get rid of him. Not a fan.

If serious........

I want to get rid of you!

Can't tell if you're brain dead or trying to be funny, one of our best players this season.

When he was linked with forest a couple of weeks ago I told this fellow city fan at work and he said "let him go he's shit" strange how differently some see things.

You must be insane.

Fairplay to Lloyd, he's been my favourite player for years now. It is credit to himself that he was once being linked to clubs in L1 and the relegation championship fight and yet is once again an extremely important member of our first team.

He still has a few good years left in him and I hope he sees them out with us. He also looks in great condition and I don't necesarily think his "legs will go" anytime soon.

He infuriates me. He's part Christiano Ronaldo, part Lee Philpott and part non-league winger.
The last two games we've played teams who keep the ball and move the ball extremely well. If we want to do anything in this league or the one above it we need to keep the ball better and and do more with it in the final third. Lloyd just can't seem to do this. His passing is dreadful, he can't cross and I'm amazed he's scored so many goals this season considering how bad his finishing is. Sometimes I think he's the reason we're third in the league, sometimes I think we're doing well in spite of him.

If he had the end product he would be top 4 prem, simple really.

He has got some end product. He's scored lots of great goals for the club. Unfortunately he could have scored soooo many more!

lol

I think its a composure thing. He tends to snatch at chances too often.

He won't change now though. I love him

Fantastic servant for us and arguably the finest signing of either Pearson era combined given his contribution.

This is my club, I love this club and everybody in my family loves this club. My young son loves this club. I don't want to go anywhere, I'm a Leicester player and I love it here. I'm proper proud to play for Leicester.

Oh, man.
