Unabomber Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 He's a great man. I call him a **** at least 3 times a game, but I bow down at least 4 so well done Lloyd baby.
dayday Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 The opposition now are that terrified of him they are trying to double up,thats how much he has improved this season.
Wink Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Thing is with Lloyd is he can be very hit and miss. There's always going to be frustrating moments, but also going to be some great moments. He clearly loves the club and loves playing for us. He tries his best, enjoy the good times. Even when he's frustrating he's dangerous and scares the crap out of defenders.
Alexikokopops Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 He must be one of out longest serving players. King's been here longer but apart from that...?
MC Prussian Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 He must be one of out longest serving players. King's been here longer but apart from that...? Conrad Logan.
Alexikokopops Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Conrad Logan. Of course! The man, the legend. How could I forget??
Hitesh Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Don't think Baptiste is that slow He's not, but Lloyd is that quick!
Langley Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 I absolutely love the guy, he can just be so frustrating. On his day he is unplayable. On others you just want to smack him. Regardless, he gives everything to this club and I hope he sticks around for as long as possible and goes into coaching at the club past his playing days.
Bert Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Too early to say he's slowly becoming a legend at the club?
Vardinhio Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Too early to say he's slowly becoming a legend at the club? Never too early Berty! I love Lloyd Dyer!
VLC86 Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Too early to say he's slowly becoming a legend at the club? He's no Ian Hume
NathanBlueFox Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Too early to say he's slowly becoming a legend at the club? been here for 5 years now, playing 246 games.... i think so!
kingfox Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 at kingfox's thread being merged into here I'm kind of glad, takes the limelight off me being called a faggot. Even though TBJS is a proud one himself.
Guest Col city fan Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 The biggest accolade I can give to Lloyd is hes the ONLY player (except Kasper) who is irreplaceable in the 4-4-2. If Drinky/James are injured, in comes King or Hammond. Wasyl could replace Moore/Morgan. Schlupp can deputise for Konch. Wood for Vardy/Nuge Even Gally could probably do a job on the right side. The alternatives arent as good, but could come in, if needed and deputise. No-one can do what Dyer is doing. This is why he's my player of the season so far. In the 442, where Lloyd is the outlet hes possibly our most important player. If he's out injured, I think we'd really suffer. God knows how Sven didnt see this.
Thracian Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Today only added tinsel to the Christmas Tree. Throughout his time here, he's always been the hardest player to mark and potentially the most dangerous and its perhaps significant that we're top of the league now that he's most involved. Mind you, it also helps that he's got better, more consistent and more threatening players around him because teams find it harder now to double-up in trying to stop him. The bonus is that, for all his pace and individual ability, he's a team man through and through. He'll try to do what he's asked tactically, he'll defend responsibly. accept disappointments and give everything he's got even when he's getting caned by the crowd. Legend? No question in my mind.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Have always liked him a lot. Noticed during the Reading game actually, if it was the other way round and some oppo player was doing what he does, we'd all be shitting it and desperate to sign him. He's bloody brilliant. Even when he shoots wide or puts in a poor cross, he's usually skinned the full-back first. Just think of all the shite, one-paced wingers we've had down the years who could never beat anyone for pace.
little Brian Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 he has been a great signing , but fear we would have to replace the great man if promoted ........
Filbert_Ross Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 he has been a great signing , but fear we would have to replace the great man if promoted ........ Dyer would still get back in the team and see him off.
little Brian Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Dyer would still get back in the team and see him off. hope your right , i think Lloyd is a great pro , and a great fella
Fez of Mahrez Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Straight after the goal it looks like Lloyd's put the Filbert head on to celebrate.
Corky Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 He's brilliant, can look so inept one minute then produce that out of nothing. You can't help but like him, his attitude and his style
Thracian Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Gives a good insight that into the nightmare defenders face in trying to catch Dyer, let alone stop him.
