gurn Posted 29 December 2013 Posted 29 December 2013 Straight after the goal it looks like Lloyd's put the Filbert head on to celebrate. Hahaha fantastic.
AyewJoking Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Hero. Blows your mind or just plain blows. He's OUR Lloyd though.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 What a guy! I love the buzz when he gets the ball at his feet and starts one of his runs and everyone stands up screaming "Go on Lloyd!"
Katy Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 The biggest accolade I can give to Lloyd is hes the ONLY player (except Kasper) who is irreplaceable in the 4-4-2. If Drinky/James are injured, in comes King or Hammond. Wasyl could replace Moore/Morgan. Schlupp can deputise for Konch. Wood for Vardy/Nuge Even Gally could probably do a job on the right side. The alternatives arent as good, but could come in, if needed and deputise. No-one can do what Dyer is doing. This is why he's my player of the season so far. In the 442, where Lloyd is the outlet hes possibly our most important player. If he's out injured, I think we'd really suffer. God knows how Sven didnt see this.

That's because Sven is a shockingly bad manager, but everyone in football seems to go mental over him. He's the Emperors New Clothes of football if you like. If Lloyd isn't knighted in this years New Years Honours list then there's something gone horribly wrong!
Katy Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Sorry about the double post, it's been so long since I've posted on here I've forgotten what to do. Lloyd has brought me out of FT retirement! As you were....
foxfanazer Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 He's a great man. I call him a **** at least 3 times a game, but I bow down at least 4 so well done Lloyd baby. pretty much sums him up perfectly.

Miquel left-back and then put schlupp left-mid??
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Always comment on his lack of composure and he always tends to make me eat my words. In a rich vein of form at the minute and his end product seems to be getting better. Behind Kingy and Logan he must be longest serving player??? Love him. I think yesterday he was told to vary the crosses he put in as high balls would be meat and gravy for Ream, Mills and Knight. He mixed it up and put in a few floaters, drills, and low balls. Bolton defenders couldn't handle it.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Also compare him to the likes of Jamie Welsh, Josh Low, Momo Sylla and we should be really grateful!!!
Magictv Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 I don't get down too much anymore, does his song get much of an airing this season?
Thracian Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 When you quote those names it sure emphasises the progress that's been made. Did they really play for us! Makes me shudder.
Banks Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 If he gets us to the Premier a league then he can definitely be called a legend haha
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 I want to feel the heat of Lloyd's fruitbowl on my sleazy palm
Collymore Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 he's not only got obscene pace but he has great acceleration over 10 yards to get him to the by-line. My only concern is that if he loses his pace he'll be finished and probably playing in the conference north. Joachim being the best example.
Winnershfox Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Dyer for England.! Not as daft as it sounds.!. An outstanding season so far.
deanolegend1989 Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Lloyd Dyer continues to proove what Ive said all along..simple as that. From apperantly being finished away at Derby to sudden appreciation shows a knee-jerk lack of knowledge. Not all on here but a lot had this opinion(you know whho you are). There will always be some who think differently but for me ever since we signed him(no hindsight I remember thinking wow hes good..and I barely watch league 1 but still knew him) I have thought top player. Every season he has proved me right and for me he is the best footballer to ever play for us below Premiership level. His technique gets questioned but tbh its actually more good than bad. I see it as he looks 'awkward' so people assume its worse than it is..endless good stuff yet 1 scuff wide vs QPR everyone cant wait to give it large. End of the day hes consistent but not perfect and people think he should be yet with someone like Was he can be poor constantly, then 1 elbow or strong challenge and people get a doggy boner over it. People like to dislike Dyer and throw out the old rubbish how 'but hes a good servant'. End of the day hes arguably the best player weve ever had below the EPL(In my opinion) but undesputidly in the top few. Before the season when he got 3-4 a season I said, thats actually a very decent tally for a winger from experience myself(I play winger/in the hole in county league and scoring from the wing is hard for any winger in the league). Im not saying my level is anywhere near the 2nd best league in England but the type of style still exists. Now to have 8 from the wing at the half way stage, is actually an unbelievable total. Wingers dont get 10+, it just dont happen. Even if he was total crap in everything else he did(hardly has been with assists, pace, an outlet, passion and quality..amongsts everything else) getting the amount of goals from wide he has, is at a standard where it suggests 'hes too good for the Championship'.
Bryn Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 Between him, Drinky and Vardy for player of the season so far. I would vote Lloyd, absolute hero having a monstrous season.

Adomah, Ince and Andy Reid have all got more league goals than Dyer, wingers quite regularly get 10+ goals in the championship.

C-man Posted 30 December 2013 Posted 30 December 2013 How many goals has he got for us now? Must be around 40? EDIT: massive overestimate from me, apparently only 28... Shows that King's effort of 50+ is pretty good going!
