Guest Col city fan Posted 19 December 2013 Posted 19 December 2013 Best to be ignored, the sort if player who loves the attention and would only make him have a better game. Spot on. He seems to have an almost pathological need for attention Win the game... that'll shut the fooker up
Bayfox Posted 19 December 2013 Posted 19 December 2013 Must win. Not lose. that tells me far too much about our support. If you wanna go up. Every game is must win.
Gazza M Posted 19 December 2013 Posted 19 December 2013 I see this as a massive game and a chance to test ourselves against the "favourites" for promotion. We need to get our away form going again and I think we are best throwing caution to the wind and going 4-4-2 and being attack minded. They normally play one up front and are normally very tight and difficult to break down. Lets take the game to them. I would go: Kasper Konch Morgan Moore De Laet Dyer King Drinkwater Knockaert Nugent Vardy Subs: Logan, Miquel, Was, James, Schlupp, Waghorn, Taylor-Fletcher
Lionheart Posted 19 December 2013 Posted 19 December 2013 Lose to QPR,draw with Reading,beat Bolton,beat Millwall.
Dr The Singh Posted 19 December 2013 Posted 19 December 2013 These are the matches that seperate men from boys! As long the boys give 100% they will be men
Harry - LCFC Posted 19 December 2013 Posted 19 December 2013 Must win. Not lose. that tells me far too much about our support. If you wanna go up. Every game is must win. Except it isn't. And when you say "that tells me far too much about our support" I get the impression you mean our fans don't want it enough. You suggesting that those who would be satisfied with a draw in this game don't have the right level of ambition is utterly ridiculous, if my interpretation of what you said is correct of course.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 19 December 2013 Posted 19 December 2013 Even if we lost this and beat Reading/Bolton to gain six points we'd be doing well. Phase One for promotion has been completed as we are at least in the playoffs at xmas

Phase One for promotion has been completed as we are at least in the playoffs at xmas IF's and buts, we have a match against QPR, a loss could have a detriment effect on confidence, and we know from last season, we are subseptable to massive confidence loses

Dont get me wrong the hype around the sven era was ridiculous. But why are we so pessimistic. If we want to go up beating teams like qpr and burnley is a must. Everyone thinks our problem is the fact we lose at doncaster. no we need to damage our rivals when we can. ok so we won't throw promotion away on sat but staying in touch and proving to the fans, our players and qpr that we mean business and aren't going away is a massive statement. we talk about atmosphere and backing the team. Yet are going into a game suggesting that it's ok if we lose. Nope sorry not for me. drawing with burnley makes it must win.

Lcfcjonno Posted 19 December 2013 Posted 19 December 2013 Get some singing in the concourse and before the game Improves the day in a whole
Devonfox1884 Posted 19 December 2013 Posted 19 December 2013 These are the matches that seperate men from boys! As long the boys give 100% they will be men unless they get nutted by Barton & co...
Callabinho Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 It is a must win, if we want to rub shoulders with the top teams we must earn it, as one poster said we can deal a damaging blow to QPR tomorrow fail to do so and we could end up below Derby.
Saxondale Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Here's my prediction: Wasilewski gives Barton a few cheeky studs to the calf. Barton eventually retaliates with a nightclub-style push. Wasilewski floors him. Wasilewski gets sent off.
Guest MattP Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 A couple of people predicting hammerings, would be very annoyed if that happened given this lot have struggled to put away the bottom sides at times and struggle to score goals. Personally think it will be a draw and I'd take that.
Rob1742 Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 A difficult game obviously, but a positive is we came out of Tuesday okay. No noticeable injuries and I personally think they will go into this knowing it will be nowhere near as difficult. The key must be to keep it tight and not concede early, else previous results could then play on our minds. Keep it tight, build confidence and you never know, it could be our day and suddenly the last run of results will be forgotten.
goose2010 Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Waghorn is back and in contention for tomorrow. Didn't he score the winner the last time we played here :xmaswink:

Happy Fox Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Another away performance replicating Watford away would be nice!
Callabinho Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 I'd definitely put Waggy in the side. Seems to have regained his confidence and he is probably the only player we have who can hold a ball up.
Mike King Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 Attack Attack Attack - a MUST win game to keep us in contention otherwise............ KasperRDLMooreMiquelKoncheskyJamesKingDrinkwaterDyerSchluppVardy Enough pace above to worry the QPR veterans
Father Ted Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 It really is a shame that Clint Hill is out tomorrow, Vardy really would have had the beating of him and Dunne comfortably for pace! Lets not forget they also have two of the quickest full backs in the league is Assou Ekotto and Simpson.
Guest ttfn Posted 20 December 2013 Posted 20 December 2013 My bad was the time before. I don't think Waghorn has ever scored at Loftus Road.
