Simonb Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 No surprise to see those cheating reds in the top two.. wud be the worst if blackpool hadnt have had that mad 3 days where they got all 5 of their reds
The Year Of The Fox Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 Who was our straight red then? James? Or was that 2 yellows as well? Either way with the egos qpr have (barton aside) I'm astonished they're that low down
theessexfox Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 Who was our straight red then? Two yello,ws. So was James?
dmayne7 Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 Was Morgan sent off at home for us this season or am I imagining that?
cjslcfc Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 Was Morgan sent off at home for us this season or am I imagining that? I don't think this season. He was sent off vs Millwall at home last season wasn't he? haha
Finnegan Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 Proof right there that we're not playing Wasyl enough. What poofters.
Filberts Treat Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 Matty James red card at Charlton? Edit... Notice someone had already covered this.
ramadaone Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 Proof right there that we're not playing Wasyl enough. What poofters. You are on the right lines - our midfield "tackled" like a load of girls yesterday and can't remember us winning a 50/50 all game in the middle of the parkNot suggesting we go into Keane / Viera mode but yesterday proved that if we want to compete at the next level we need to be more aggressive in certain areas

You don't need to be "tough" in order to make it in the Premier League. You just need to be smarter under certain circumstances.
Harry - LCFC Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 And have loads of players sent off as a consequence? You don't need to be "tough" in order to make it in the Premier League. You just need to be smarter under certain circumstances. We wouldn't have risked a red card had we gone in a bit harder yesterday. Most of the challenges in the game were the standard 1v1 block tackles that occur when players aren't in full control of the ball. Referees aren't going to dish out cards for going in firmly in that situation.
EastNeukFox Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 Those statistics don't agree with the stats on the Football League website? http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/ClubDiscipline/0,,10794~20137,00.html#

EastNeukFox Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 Based on the FL stats, which I'd assume are accurate, then only Ipswich have a better disciplinary record than us.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 And have loads of players sent off as a consequence? You don't need to be "tough" in order to make it in the Premier League. You just need to be smarter under certain circumstances. Agreed, but you can still be aggressive without fouling. Plenty of old City players I could mention.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 That's pretty damn good. I hope we can maintain it.
Fox92 Posted 5 January 2014 Posted 5 January 2014 That red card for James was pretty harsh as well. I recall us having a similar record under Nige previously. One sending off during the League One season, Hobbs I think (didn't he give a penalty away at Bristol Rovers. Got sent off for that?).
