ScouseFox Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 I personally wish all kits still looked like Italian 90s kits.
cityfanlee23 Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Serie A: Ac Milan Inter Milan Juventus Napoli Roma Lazio (To an extent) Udinese (Quite a good team) La Liga: Real Madrid Barcelona Athletico the rest are average for me in La Liga. Including valencia etc Prefer Serie A It is tight between them, but I prefer to watch serie A
ScouseFox Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 AC are 13th and Udinese 12th (and losing at home to Hellas Verona atm), too.
Darkon84 Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Fiorentina should be in ahead of Milan atm, aswell as Udinese and Lazio
Dan Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Lazio are ****ing dreadful mate. As are AC Milan. I haven't seen a team tail off so quickly in my lifetime. What the hell has happened to them?

purpleronnie Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 I (like others on here it seems) was obsessed with Seria A in the early 90's thanks mainly to Football Italia. Vieri, Donadoni, Bergomi, Baggio, Nesta, Cannavaro, Buffon, Del Piero, Totti, Maldini, awesome players. crowds were amazing too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJf9NHGaIjA
21st Century Fox Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 As are AC Milan. I haven't seen a team tail off so quickly in my lifetime. What the hell has happened to them? Berlusconi doesn't bankroll them as much as he used to and there are ongoing power struggles between Galliani and Barbara Berlusconi. It's pretty messed up behind the scenes basically.
Bayfox Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Lazio and ac both won tonight. Lazio 1-0 v inter late klose goal. kaka got 2 for ac in a 3-0 win. Oldies rule in italy!!
Langston Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Zamorano was an absolute hero and the picture below gets me all kinds of hard...
21st Century Fox Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Jinx And not forgetting Colonel Gaddafi's son Al-Saadi played for Perugia (Once before failing a drugs test) and then 10 minutes for Udinese a few years later
Haydos Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Where are you getting all these pics from 21stC? Can't believe I forgot about Zamorano and Salas
21st Century Fox Posted 6 January 2014 Posted 6 January 2014 Where are you getting all these pics from 21stC? Can't believe I forgot about Zamorano and Salas A personal stash. I think I raided a Tumblr a few years ago. Ciro Ferrara & Paolo Montero. **** me that was a defensive partnership that must've scared the shit out of teams. Attilio Lombardo!! I think I've previously mentioned my autograph collection. When Serie A players moved to the Premier League I'd get my mum to write out a letter in Italian, then I'd copy it, send it out and get a signed photo back. I've still got some good ones but I stupidly gave away my Attilio Lombardo one from his Palace days. I should've got a new one when he was at Man City with Mancini.
MC Prussian Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 Antonio Di Natale is set to retire from football at the end of this season: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/25630641 Shame, really. Pretty much a two-club guy, but always mainly associated with Udinese, and one of the best strikers in recent Italian history. Also quite unusual that he enjoyed his most sportive and personal success after the age of 30. His scoring record from age 31 to 36 is impressive, to say the least.
One Legged Beaver Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 Berlusconi doesn't bankroll them as much as he used to and there are ongoing power struggles between Galliani and Barbara Berlusconi. It's pretty messed up behind the scenes basically. This. The loss of key players like Pirlo, Thiago Silva, Ibrahimovic, Boateng etc haven't helped an enormous amount either.
21st Century Fox Posted 7 January 2014 Posted 7 January 2014 Weirdly The Guardian have just started a Serie A club guide.... The first one's for MC P. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/jan/07/atalanta-serie-a-club-guide-ground-ultras-caniggia

Manwell Pablo Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 Milan Italy have more sides that used to be good I'll give you that if it's worth anything Lee. I like Lee. His attempt to be Foxestalk's controversial bad guy figure is funny, it actually make him look more and more like the forum Charlie Chalk by the post, he makes me laugh.

Ford Super Sunday Posted 8 January 2014 Posted 8 January 2014 I've been playing a lot of Championship Manager 00/01 recently. The Serie A squads make you want to cry with nostaliga.
