We had our extended period of time in the spotlight last week, no need to make more out of a non-story than it actually is.

Besides, I'd rather remain a bit unnoticed and anonymous, instead of being hyped up by the media.

Shall EMT dwell in all things F**3st, we don't care.

Nat Jackson is the sports editor so surely it's down to her?

She's a scunny fan, but we all know of the bias towards Forest.

For the avoidance of doubt I'd rather fvck a pumpkin than go anywhere near Nat Jackson'scunny

EMT need some decent totty now Kylie Pentelow has left.

Mark Shardlow is the sports editor, not Jackson.

Must have switch jobs then, because it definitely used to be Shardlow.

Wouldn't say they gave 5 minutes to Forest.

I'd say it was 2 for us/Derby, 2 for Forest.

Why are our fans so desperate to feel loved?

I'm quite happy with us going about our business quietly, slipping under the radar and tbh we are in the media quite alot really, but still our fans want more media attention.

Ollie? Milan? Media whores from the past? That got us far didn't it? That got us success?

Nigel? Our current owners? Going about business quietly? I'm happy.

Don't get me wrong, you're talking about local media, perhaps they should be giving us more coverage and credit but i'm really not that bothered, but some of our fans do seem so desperate to feel loved.

Infact we probably got more than 2 minutes, we had 3 stories reported on EMT, they started by saying Kevin Phillips was set to sign this week, then they moved on to Billy's lover giving a pre-match blurb, Highlights of the match, Billy's lover giving a post-match round up, interviews, then finished by reporting Riyhad Mahrez had signed.

My initial post was making a comment about the coverage from our local media after a local derby.

your reply was the typical reactionary dross I have come to expect from this forum.....quite how we have managed to stay 'under the radar' this long into the season (as you so tediously put it) is beyond me!

p.s. please love me.?!?!

I don't think you've sneaked under radar at all. Perhaps in the same sense Cardiff did last year by being really boring and just winning games. There's no news value in a football team that just wins games. Drunk players stumbling out of clubs with transvestites, managers calling all and sundry a sack load of pricks, internal squabbling and other undesirable bullshit is news worthy. Not quietly winning games.

Just be grateful for having a functioning, winning, albeit boring team to follow.

Not sure about boring. Although surely you cant be talking in a footballing sense?

Obviously you've not watched us but we aren't winning games by being boring. lol

I don't think he is, more praising us for being stable and consistent as opposed to the circus at Forest.

At least I think it's complimentary, my reading of it anyway - he's not slagging our football off.

Langston has it spot on. It wasn't a comment on your football. More that you have a stable side and no stupid shit going on behind the scenes.

For news minutes you have the Billy Davies circus and the bloke up the A52 who has fluked a good run to contend with.

If you had the chance Hux, would you swap Davies for Pearson?

He isn't saying the football we are producing is boring - it was a tongue in cheek compliment about us and joke about Forest.

Point taken. I made the mistake of posting then reading. Getting old you see.

ooh, that a question! I think. I probably would, but not really for football reasons. More because Davies infects a club like a disease. Making sure his men get positions of power. Even to the extent two of his relatives are keeping, apparently two more promising players, out of our u21 squad. Also, I suspect the Jim Price farce has a way to go yet.

Fair enough, there isn't a lot between them as managers but certainly Davies courts attention far more than Pearson.

I remember when Davies was linked with us at Derby and I'd happily have taken him, given we were struggling and his stock was really high having just been promoted (and didn't seem to have this agenda with the media that he has now).
