JimmyB Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Way to literally misconstrue every single thing I've said. We don't really have any extremely well known players except Emnes who seems to be very overrated by a lot of opposition fans and Jonny Woodgate. Woodgate has played with some top players during his career, wonder why he rates Emnes so highly ðŸ˜
Bryn Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 And not that it means anything, but Kei Kamara has more followers on Twitter than any Leicester player apart from Schmeichel and St Ledger, so he's actually a pretty well known player. Guess you should just improve your football knowledge :-) Oh you just didn't
BoroWeasel Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Woodgate has played with some top players during his career, wonder why he rates Emnes so highly Hahaha, made me laugh Oh you just didn't It was meant to be tongue and cheek To be fair Kei Kamara is mainly known for being a really cool guy off the pitch, not really for his career

BoroWeasel Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Rather like my spelling, but humour can be tricky on here Yeah, think I'll just stick to football Also just noticed when you hover over your name a little box comes out and you can see what that person is viewing, that's a really cool feature of the board

Lobsterboyuk Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 They have enough quality that if we are still misfiring it could be quite tight. Hoping that we get a fast flowing, entertaining game and City aren't too troubled at 3-1. Still woriied that a win would be a record equalling feat for consecutive league wins so statistically we're due a blip.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 We are on the best run I can ever remember, let's keep it up and get that record equalling seven straight wins. Great chance being at home and I really fancy us to win well on Saturday.
LCFC FOX Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 No offence intended but looking at Leicester's team i'm really surprised to see you guys doing so well, I guess more of a team than a team of star individuals :3 I could just see us leading 2-1 for a while then Nugent scoring a flukey goal in the last couple of minutes, we love conceding late! Naww we won't go for the jugular, we just aren't that type of team. We'll play how we did vs burnley, we played solid defensively, stopped Ings and the gang from creating chances and hit them on the counter attack and scraped a 1-0 win. It was very Mourinho esque and I'm sure that's how we're going to play vs you, reading by comments on this forum sounds like that's the kind of thing you struggle against? if you think you're good at counter attacks just don't give us one
UTBoro Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Boro fan coming in peace Really looking forward to coming down to the KP on Saturday should be a great game between the 2 form teams in the championship. Watched Leicester city twice on sky recently have to say against derby you where fantastic apart from conceding a soft goal from a corner I'd say you where almost flawless. Not so good at Leeds but I'm not going to pick a win is a win after all. We've been in great form ourselves but much like yourselves we didn't set the world alight against charlton but we got the job done and that's the name of the game at this level. I was one of the brave few that made the trip to the KP in January and between the snow,5 hour journey and a 1-0 defeat after missing a last min pen (*Grunt Marv* )I'm quietly optimistic we can get something Saturday but we have certainly have to be at our best or I'll be the forts to admit we will get walloped I'm going for a 1-1 draw with us going ahead Please no grief just a fan trying to have some banter with the opposing fans before the game

Aitor Karanka seems to have really got your boys playing. On paper you have a decent team, and were underachieving massively under Mowbray. Have to say I think it will finish 1-1 too, although I'm hoping our boys can pull off another win against a fast improving side, maybe 2-1. Leadbitter, Adomah and Ledesma are the players I fear most, anyone else to watch out for? Obviously Given is still a class keeper at this level. On a side note, all respect to you for making that game last season, I couldn't get there and I'm sure I live a lot closer to Leicester than you .

I'd defiantly add carayol to that list. if Adomah is back chances are we will start with Adomah,Emnes and Ledesma with Kei Kamara the lone striker with muzzy on the bench watch for muzzy coming of the bench (normaly comes on after an hour or there abouts) he is rapid and any tired legs will struggle to catch him, he effectively won us the match at blackpool.
UTBoro Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 BoroWeasel No mate I ain't on one Boro at the moment just on here like yourself trying to stir up some banter between the fans
Kyle_Le_Don Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 This game seems to be taking FOREVER haha think I'm just more excited for every game now! Gonna be a good evening!
elangLCFC Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Surprised by comments saying we have no star names in the team... Dyer, Knockaert, Nugent, Kasper, Drinky... surely all feared names in this league at the moment?
deejdeej Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 At least Gavin Ward wont be reffing this one.. although if this ref has just as bad a game and gives us nothing I can sing 'the referee's karanka'.
foxfanazer Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 No don't worry Deej. The ref on saturday is a close friend of mine........
deejdeej Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 No don't worry Deej. The ref on saturday is a close friend of mine........Thank god, nothing can go wrong then.
Out Foxed Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 Out of interest, what's the relation/interest with Rayo? i like them. i actually don't have sigs showing on this site due to some people on here having ones that talk up half a page so it took me a minute to remember what my sig is.
cjslcfc Posted 22 January 2014 Posted 22 January 2014 My uni exams finish on Friday so buzzing for this game. We best bloody win after the last couple of weeks I've had!

NewburyFox Posted 23 January 2014 Posted 23 January 2014 well I would take Dyer and Knockaert over Adomah and Carayol any day I'd have Adomah. Didn't think he was that good at Bristol City but he seems to have stepped up a gear this season. 9 goals (I think?) from the wing is decent going.
MattGamble92 Posted 23 January 2014 Posted 23 January 2014 Boro are a very good side. Carayol and Adomah have always impressed me.I can see this being similar to Bolton in the respect that the attacking players on offer will constantly push forward and lead to an end to end ding dong. That said..... Leicester 4-0 Boro

Leicester 4-0 Boro I don't know if I could take another game where the opposition scores three goals against us and we still end up winning. Hopefully, Pearson and his staff will have looked at Boro's previous games under Karanka and taken the Bolton experience into account.
