Any sort of win would be a fantastic result against a team in the sort of form Boro are in. I know we're in great form too but since Karanka has come in their results are as impressive as anybody else's. Can see this being a tough game, 1-0 win.

Trying to tell a fan of another team, who has come on Foxes Talk for a friendly discussion before the game, how good the players he sees every week are while you watch them once or twice a year (I assume) makes us look like a bunch of idiotic, arrogant arseholes and I don't particularly like that. Also interesting that you have a problem with people gloating about you wanting Pearson out because they 'could still be proved wrong' but you're happy to have a go at someone for praising a 23-year-old footballer.

BoroWeasel Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 Its only Adomah from that list that I would have any concern about. He's a decent player. The rest? Nah.. they blow too hot and cold to be considered good players. I like Leadbitter. He always seems a solid performer. Thats it though for me. That's understandable I guess, Adomah is our best player I'd say but we have qualtiy in other areas of the team, Carayol is very good when he's hot as you'd say and so is Emnes. Ledesma is amazing at the moment and can't stop scoring and keeps playing quality passes. Leadbitter is fantastic, much improved from last season although a lot of our fans still dislike him How is Carayol doing these days mate? I see he's bagged a few recently. Is he blowing hot and cold depending on whether he looks like he can be bothered like he did at Bristol Rovers? Just asking because I wanted us to sign him (when it looked like Dyer was being slowly dropped out and before we had discovered Anthony Knockaert) after watching him a few times for the Gas. Was excited to see how he'd do after a big step up but he kept getting injured last year. Will he be starting at the weekend? Could cause Konchesky (or Wasyl if he's playing right back) a lot of problems if he's on form. Carayol is a very good player on his day, bags of pace and skill and real fun to watch. He's not as consisent as I like but if he was extremely consisent then he'd probably be playing in the prem. He's still one of our best players and is a great finisher, his end product could be a bit better but his trickery and goalscoring threat warrant him in the team. Carayol is likely to start, unless we decide to play Ledesma on the wing! Boro were very capable under Mowbray first half of last year (like us), they passed it around well. If the new manager has added a high pressing game to that, and a more lethal streak up front then it could be a very tough game. In fact it most probably will be. It was from this point onwards last year that teams stopped trying to beat us and just started shutting up shop, already this year we've seen teams who press and give us little space often have the most joy. I also think we struggle with teams that drop a striker off to play between out midfield and defence as it pulls our CB's all over the place. If they attack us though all guns blazing and go for an open game... well, I'm sure they saw the Derby game. Don't remind me, we were fantastic last year and then to see how badly we plumetted makes me sick We definitely press a lot more under Karanka but our strikers aren't the best, Kei Kamara is good though and hopefully he'll be fully fit! I don't think we'll go all guns blazing, not our style and clearly that doesn't work against you fellas! There's a lot of people talking like we're Barcelona. I simply dont' think Borough are a particularly good team. Sorry if that offends, just saying what I think. I also hate the lack of atmosphere at the Riverside. A case of 'your grounds too big for you', at least currently. To be fair, I did say you were improving under Karanka, but that I think we will be too strong for you at home. If Im wrong, I'll say so..
