Bourne/Young saying it's a matter of 'when' not 'if' we get promoted. Has everybody forgotten the dreadful run we had last season? Yes, we are surely favourites to win the league, but it only takes 3 defeats and QPR/Burnley winning 3 and suddenly we're 3rd. We need to keep working hard and not get cocky like many fans are being. What's the harm in fans bein confident and happy the players etc are grounded but surely if the fans don't get carried away no one should. It's our right as a fan to dream ,that's what footballs about

If you listen to something like 5Live you can see the gulf in class between the commentators, in ours you just get embarrassing rubbish from stringer about someone's hair and then the no mark prat Young talking shite for 90 minutes.

As other managers have said we are the best team in the league by a mile and we should be shouting it from the rooftops.

COYB When you ask "has everyone forgotten the dreadful run" the answer is no, the main ones that have NOT forgotten are the players and you can see it in their determination and resilience that they are not about to let it happen again !

Stadt Posted 25 January 2014 Posted 25 January 2014 I'd be much more confident if there was only two teams in the running, Burnley and QPR aren't far behind and a few slip ups could cost us severely - I remember us saying we'd catch Cardiff and close the 12 point gap last season, and look how that ended up.
