Got 92%. Enjoyed that.

Forgot about Darren Bent, Tom Cleverley (assumed they were all 4-4-2 so I was thinking for a striker for 2011) , Aaron Lennon, Matt Upson (sorry), Wes Brown, Micah Richards, Nicky Barmby, Martin Keown (annoyed me that I forgot him), Teddy Sheringham (although it turns out I just mis-spelt it), Peter Beardsley, David Platt and Gary Pallister.

Pallister, Bent, Cleverley, Lennon and Wright-Phillips were the ones I missed.

I bloody love Sporcle!

Not really relevant to the World Cup, but does anyone think Rooney will break the goal scoring record?

Yeah, easily.

10 days sees him back for our second game if we wanted to rush him. he looked very good running at the defence last night so it's a real shame.

with Englands 1st game against Italy in 9 days id sooner keep him in the squad and if we get through to the knockout stages we would have a fully rested Ox to unleash.

The alternatives being Carrick or Cleverly means id much rather take the risk on the Ox

Just thinking IF we can get to the knockout stages and we go to penalties..

We have 5 players who are the main penalty takers for their clubs in our side.

1. Gerrard

2. Lampard

3. Rooney

4. Lambert

5. Baines

Imagine if we actually won a shootout. Just imagine it. It would feel like we've won the whole thing.

It'd be the ultimate mental boost as well if you ask me.

Simply making the best out of a bad situation.

It's not though is it?

We will more than likely go out of this tournament because of poor basic defending, in my eyes anyway and the fact we haven't taken our chances when we have created them, not because we have been seriously outplayed by Italy and Uruguay.

A better defence and we wouldn't of lost them two games, more than likely be sat on 2 points in the group with everything to play for. Reality is we're not and the reality is, next Wednesday the boys will becoming home.

I don't remember anyone one saying Italy or Uruguay would "seriously out play us"

You were told it would be difficult to beat Italy as Andrea Pirlo would sit in the middle of the park and control the game. You called this opinion absurd.  Italy beat us 2-1 and Andrea Pirlo sat in the middle of the park and controlled the game.

You were told Uruguay would be difficult to beat because they have one of the best strike forces in the competition, which you of all people should know. Uruguay beat us 2-1 despite us having more of the game, because the world class strikers they have did the job.

Besides it's not particularly aimed at you you may have been ultimately wrong but at least you put some thought into what you said, I'm just waiting for Pride of the Midlands to pop up.

He didn't control the game, it was 2-1, in a game that could of gone either way and it eventually went the Italian's way because of switching off at a corner and a lapse in defending which let Balotelli score. Seriously answer me this, if Rooney takes his chance, England get the penalty which we should have had and won the game 3-2 would you still tell me Pirlo controlled the game? Doubt it.

Uruguay have the best player in the world playing for them at the miniute, he scored twice. Nothing you can do, apart from blame the defending.. Again!

What we can discuss as our failings are the manager, our players under performing again at a major tournament and us as fans over hyping our players (myself the worst for that) but it certainly hasn't been because our opposition have been so much better than us, when we have lost 2-1 twice, narrowly.
