LCFC FOX Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 I would go for the following Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Wasyl Schlupp Mahrez James Drinkwater Knockaert Wood Vardy Logan, Moore, Hammond, King, Dyer, Nugent, Phillips and rest some for Barsnley away which I think will look like Schmeichel De Laet Morgan Moore Schlupp Mahrez King Drinkwater Dyer Nugent Vardy
weller54 Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 They're winning at Sheffield Wednesday tonight in the cup!!.. This won't be an easy game on Saturday!..

It's 10 days after the Charlton game, they'll all probably have a two or three day break after this match, not long after they've had one after the Watford game...
Cincinnati Fox Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 Good win for them tonight They will be up for us on sat
FuriousFox46 Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 We've not beaten Charlton at home since December 2000.Akinbiyi scored.
Finnaldo Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 I can see Wood coming in for Nuge in this game. Or at least for Barnsley. I can see Nige giving him a start the same time as Mahrez personally.
FoxInTheBox89 Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 Should be a big crowd. As members get unlimited tickets for £15.00 as a birthday gift. Plus were on a real roll. No midweek game. Its got to be
weller54 Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 I'm nervous about this game!.. Especially as they've won 2 on the bounce!.. We need to win this!.. I hate playing Charlton!!.. We should, on paper beat them comfortably... Please!!!!!!!
Dan Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 We've not beaten Charlton at home since December 2000. Akinbiyi scored. Last time we beat them in the league. Over 13 years ago Charlton ffs. Our win against them in the FA Cup was the last time we beat them. That truly is diabolical. Best chance we'll have of putting it right this weekend. I think we're capable of sticking a load past these.
Corky Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 We've not beaten Charlton at home since December 2000. Akinbiyi scored. I remember that, was a week before Christmas. I was sat in my usual seat in the Mixed Adults and Children Section Zone Pen 3 (also known as the Family Stand) and recall going behind early on before pulverising them with sweeping football and great goals. Apart from that match all games at home to Charlton seem to end 1-1.
foxesfan98 Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 Schmeichel De Laet Wasilewski Morgan Schlupp Mahrez Drinkwater James Knockaert Nugent Vardy Subs - Logan, Moore, Hammond, King, Dyer, Wood, Phillips

Dan Posted 24 February 2014 Posted 24 February 2014 I'd go unchanged personally. Dyer's presence alone can put a defence on the back foot without him even doing a lot although someone made a good point about Powell knowing how to handle him - whilst he wouldn't have a clue about Mahrez.

Same. Mahrez looks a pretty good game changer to bring on at the minute from a creative point of view, may as well stay as we are while we are winning games.
Guest Col city fan Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 Same as MattP and Dan.. unchanged side for me. I think Pearson will stick with the same team.
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 I've lived close to Charlton for over 20 years now, and we rarely do them. In fact friends I know seem almost confident about their chances. I worry about this one :-/

In fact friends I know seem almost confident about their chances. I worry about this one :-/ Charlton may have their peckers up. But, over the course of the season, they have shown to be a poor side. We have shown to be a very good side. We are at home, have few injuries and I'm confident we will win this game. Don't worry.
Bert Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 I'd be tempted to give Mahrez a start for this one. Dyer looks like he's in need of a rest or a little kick up the arse. Wouldn't complain if the team remain unchanged though.
Alexikokopops Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 I am struggling to remember the last time we beat these sods at home? Time to rectify that please, but I think they'll give us a right game. A nice early goal and another to knock their confidence and that'll do me. 3-1 at home (Filbert Street) around 00/01. We owe these one. 16th December 2000 apparently. It's not quite as drastic as it sounds. In the 12 seasons between that one and this we've only played them 4 times in the league (at home). 3 draws and a loss. Still not great mind.

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 Come on Leicester!!! Really looking forward to this one (which usually means anti climax draw ) Up the Foxes!!!
LanguedocFox Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 Charlton are one of my bogey teams: I've seen them beat us half a dozen times in the league. So I reckon this Saturday I'll be in the garden until 6:00pm local time rather than listening to Foxes Player. Probably beat them 6-0 as a result.
Dan Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 I wasn't at either the 3-1 league game or the 1-2 win in the cup. I have never seen Leicester beat Charlton. This is wrong.
Vossen Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 Charlton have won the last 2 games, saving Chris Powell's job... they'll be up for it & are scrapping to escape relegation... still...we should win COYB
AndWhat? Posted 25 February 2014 Posted 25 February 2014 Same team for me. Honestly recon we are looking at a 4 nil or maybe even more!
