Simmo86 Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 Not sure if people know but Betbright are doing a decent offer for new customers... Place a bet upto 30 quid on one single event and if it loses you get refunded Good spot
separator Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 Signed up to that Betbright offer and slung £30 on Flaxon Flare in the 2.05. 20/1.
chrishlcfc Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 My tips for today. 1.30 Calipto/Royal Irish Husaar can't choose between them 2 so backed both. 2.05 Cheltenian 2.40 Briar Hill 3.20 Silviniaco Conti 4.00 On the fringe 4.40 Vieux lion rouge 5.15 Mr Mole
Simmo86 Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 Getting less confident about Briar Hill as the day goes on!
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 Even less confident on Briar Hill now Ruby wont be on.
StanSP Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 Ruby's fall looked nasty. Broken his arm?I had Guitar Pete place for one of my doubles. Did SkyBet pay 4 places for that race? If so, Calipto placed for me too.
separator Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 The Giant Bolster and Teaforthree in the gold cup, a couple of small each ways taking on the favs
pSinatra Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 Money on S. Conti & a £20 free bet on Bobs Worth.........surely I can't lose going over the last fence. Bollocks!!
separator Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 The Giant Bolster and Teaforthree in the gold cup, a couple of small each ways taking on the favs Tenner ew on The Giant Bolster returned £36
Guest MattP Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 One of the best Gold Cups I've seen that, the stewards have a tough call, it was the 2.30 at Plumpton on a Tuesday they might overturn that I dread to think what price Bobs Worth and Silvianco Conti were to place when both clear over the last!
StanSP Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 Had On His Own/Arctic Fire in a double so should see a fair bit of returns on that. What happened with Bobs Worth?
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 Trusty old Giant Bolster E/W, possibly could have won if wasn't nudged across. Bookies must be laughing all the way to the bank so far.
ScouseFox Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 Well that day has ruined everyone's festivals from a betting view. Cracking day of racing though, boss finish in the gold cup.
Matt Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 For me it was a disappointing finish to the Gold Cup. I was on Silvinaico Conti, thought i'd won when they went over the last but he just ran out of steam. Gutted, but still well up for the week at a rough guess £185 up for the week. Got Harbour Court in this one.
Turtles Head Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 Had Tammy's hill in an ew double with lord fox at fakenham. On sky farmer & claret cloak, singles & double
Matt Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 Full Shift in the next. Extremely sad to see the back of another festival Not sure I can wait another year! It truly is THE best week of the year. The weather turns good (In the last couple of years) and it is the best week of racing in the year, I look forward to no week in the year better than the first week of March...Oh and it's full off Guinness. Genuinely gutted it has finished and feel the same every year
Kitchandro Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 It would be a travesty if the Gold Cup had been won in the stewards room. Personally I don't think he was getting up and in any case it was very minor interference. And he had his whip in the right hand didn't he?
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 14 March 2014 Posted 14 March 2014 Gutted there, had Thomas Crapper this morning at 25/1 few quid each way, thought he was going to hold on.Tanks for That in the next.
