foxfanazer Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 It's incredible to watch. Every player is giving 100% from start to finish. Right from the first whistle today Nuge chased down their defender and intercepted the ball. Vardy and Nuge must be a nightmare to play against. Keep it up boys

Unabomber Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 You know what they say, work hard and you will be top.
Stadt Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Nugent definitely worked harder than usual today, hopefully he carries it on because it'd be a defender's nightmare getting closed down by both Nuge and Vardy.
Swarles Barkley Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 funny thing is i thought they looked shattered in the first half. the chalrton players had alot of time on the ball albeit in their defence. Then BOOM second half they came out and just stepped it up a gear. Was left eating my words!
AKCJ Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Fitness levels are immense. Sports science (Yeah Mr White, yeah science!), youthful squad and excellent motivation.....all part of the grand plan!! Edited for accuracy.
LAprice_ Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 The sports science is also the reason why we've managed to keep most our squad injury-free all season. Ha ha ha Billy Davies, Ha ha ha.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Reason why Morrison came off after 10 mins, saw Nugent and Vardy running round like that and just thought fvck it. Good call.

Blueblood1989 Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 I genuinely believe that we have much more to give. Feel like they can up it whenever they want

StanSP Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Had some berks behind me saying Vardy has been inconsistent this season. Pah. He's been one of the reasons we've been so successful - he leads the way with his workrate. He sets the standards from the front and that's how it should be. Extreme stark contrast to the likes of Beckford! Midfield are also working harder than ever, too. Especially wingers, too.
Dickov22 Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Second to Vardy's work rate is Knockaert. I don't think some people see it, but Knocky works incredibly hard and always wants the ball.
StanSP Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Second to Vardy's work rate is Knockaert. I don't think some people see it, but Knocky works incredibly hard and always wants the ball. His desire to win the ball back after he or anyone loses it is has increased hugely since last season. Another improvement to build upon and take praise from.
One Legged Beaver Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 93rd minute we gave the ball away and De Laet bust a guy to get from their corner flag back to our defense despite being 3-0 up. That was my highlight of the match and the reason I am sure we'll go up as champions.
-blue- Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 I used to moan that watching city was like watching a training ground exercise, but not this season. Every single player played their part yesterday with Vardy standing out IMO, his movement was excellent.
sdb Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 A very fit, very hardworking side. Always showing for the ball, always hounding the opposition. Love it.
Number 6 Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 I remember towards the end of the Derby game having played very well and cruising at 4-1 when De Laet had a huge sprint down the line. The work rate in this team is stunning. Couple it with skill and technique and you really do have something special. Hence the rewards we are currently reaping.
weller54 Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Superior fitness = less injuries!.. Billy Davies take note!
The Year Of The Fox Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 This is what happens when they play for a manager they love and dont want to let down
Guest Col city fan Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 This is what happens when they play for a manager they love and dont want to let down I think this is true. I'd also say they are playing for the Premiership. They have real belief this season.
Culletonfox Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Fitness levels are immense. Sports science (Yeah science Bitch!), youthful squad and excellent motivation.....all part of the grand plan!! You can't beat Desire!!! it's so infectious.
LeicesterLuke91 Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 Some good work going in behind closed doors. Our fitness levels especially in the case of vardy are unreal. 90mins solid graft
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 2 March 2014 Posted 2 March 2014 You can't be in our position without having an extremely high confidence level. This is one of the things we have not had for many a year. Keep it going lads.
