Toying with getting this as well......looks intresting. I like the idea of working and helping other players but fear a day z scenario where everyone kills on sight.

For what it's worth, the matchmaking takes into account how aggressive you are towards other players so to an extent you reap what you sow. I personally am the friendly and co-operative type, and a lot of the people I run into will worst case completely ignore me and best case offer to team up to help with quests and such, but the fact there is a possibility they might turn on me is one of the things that makes the game interesting imo.

Thanks for that....thats an intresting idea to match players. I like that as it gives you more of a chance then to find helpful players.

Not sure on time but best area was renoir drafts. From the 1st flag go down the slope and turn left. Grapple up the building then head down to 3 enemies. No damage gets over 3 mil exp.

I used Sciel, Maelle and Lune. All 3 had cheater and first strike lumina on. Lune to go 1st.Attack and then the skill hell. Then Maelle who used an energy tint on Sciel then use the skill last chance to put her in virtuso mode. Then Sciel to use the skill fortunes fury on Maelle then the skill intervention so Maelle goes immediately. Now shes in virtuso stance and has fortune fury i used her skill phantom strike to hit all enemies. That pretty much wiped the enemies out.

Id then return to the flag and rest. Then rinse and repeat. Getting 3 mil exp for about 1 and 1/2 mins. Cant remember what other luminas i had on. Think Lune had double burn.

Hope that helps.

I've done Clea with a one shot build.  The same build reduced Simon by 50% health only...lol

I'll give your farming strategy a try in Renoirs Drafts.

I've been getting lost in Versos Drafts too, great area.

Think i had 2nd chance on all characters as well. For Simon as well as farming. With Simon i used dodge rather than parry.

Just Simon left now.  I can one shot 1st phase and do 40 million damage on one shot in 2nd phase but then he goes crazy and wipes out everyone in one move.  This seems impossible at the moment!  lol

Edit: I've just done the impossible.  Equipped Glass Cannon and The One (which I forgot I had) and that took me from 40 to 50 million damage one shotting him in phase 2.  No parries, no dodges.  Roulette kept giving me 50 million in phase 1 and then 12 million in phase 2!  Eventually it switched and that was that.  Sciel with cheater adds mark and power to Maelle lvl 99 and maxed out 99 stats for Medalum, Stendhal, job done.  Platinum :D

What a game.  Not sure where I go from here though, anything else will not come close to this.  I'll save NG+ until later in the year.  There's also those final four bosses in the endless tower!

I have Astro to do and hopefully RE Requiem reviews well, I'll get that.

Well done. I dont manage too many 100% games but this one deserved it and i wasnt going to leave it a couple of achievements short. Im in the same posistion regarding what to do next. Probably a bit of Fc26 and dip in and out of AC Black flag as i finished the game but never got all achievements. However ive seen theyve released FF1 on game pass so might have a look at that also.

It's not like that.

It wasn't even at launch, to be honest, the game had a really fun mix of different people and it was pretty suspenseful because you never knew who was a bandit.

But the game was way more popular than they were expecting, it blew up with loads of - to put it mildly - complete and total wimps inexplicably buying the game with no idea what an extraction shooter was. So there were a fair few rumblings of people moaning about being shot at. Regardless, it was hugely successful and nearly everyone was loving it.

But embark have a habit of over pandering to try and please everyone so they've implemented what the community is calling ABMM, an aggression based match making system.

So if you play it entirely peacefully and never bother shooting anyone you'll get in to lobbies that are heavily, heavily favoured towards PvE.

I've had situations where I've gone to shoot someone and they've just stood on the spot and let me shoot them without shooting back because people are scared that if they do they'll go in to PvP lobbies.

Honestly it's insane. It's gone too far imo and I hope embark readjust it or even remove it entirely. The game was more fun at launch when it was less predictable. Now you know your game is going to be either Stardew Valley or PUBG based on the first few seconds of the round.

TLDR: just buy it, you'll be fine, it's not super aggressive unless you want it to be.

I don't mind the odd shoot out however my reflexes aren't what they used to be.🤣🤣 I love  actually trying to help folks ....even on Dayz which to be frank is a brutal game for pvp. Im still on the fence on buyng it.....might see how it pans out. Always loved Hell let loose though for pure pvp and team work.

Death Stranding. It appeared on GamePass so I thought I'd give it a go... Always been kind of curious.

For reasons I've never come to terms with, I have somehow played that game 3 times.

Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Torn about this. Stunning graphics, great tunes, and then there's the nostalgia factor.

And I do understand that you can't pack the original on one or two discs.

What If we'd waited for another couple of years to get the full game. from Midgar to the crater, as one?

I remember the original fondly, how I caught the FF bug, the hours spent (at night, into morning) in front of a CRT TV. How I loved (and still love) that game.

Sadly, and understandably, the remake was always to be more padded. SquarEnix had to make sure they fill many gaps in the story in order to offer a 50+ hour game for the retail price they're asking.

That includes the somewhat repetitive side quests. The additional dialogue takes one out of the story, as well.

And there's so many new characters now, maybe too many. I find that somewhat distracting from the main plot.

Also, maybe a tad bit too many cutscenes and not enough action. I'm slowly adapting to the altered fighting system. Can be a bit hectic at times.

All in all, I'm a bit underwhelmed. And maybe it's because of the impact and the importance of the original.

Still is a very good game, mind.

(And I want a physical copy for Xbox so bad)

I just wish they stuck to Turn Based fighting. i believe the new generation of people do not have the patience for turn based. Everything in life has to be quick now, whole tv series available in 1 go, amazon deliveries within 24 hours, even same day. People have forgot how to have patience.

So now companies have moved away from turn based because people hate how slow it is. But for me its what made FF7 (and other FF games) so good.

I dont mind the battle system in FF7 Remake. But i do believe Turn Based would have really hit hard.

I really hope the success of Clair Obscure will just remind people that turn based combat can still be great

I'm a big Kojima enjoyer since PS1 MGS, but this bloke loves getting high on his own supply. Nothing's worse than MGS4 in terms of lenthy, intrusive cutscenes constantly, but it goes close. He just wanted to be a film director.

It's a bit janky, super repetitive, kind of boring, makes NO sense, I don’t know what’s happening most of the time and nothing is really explained properly, the enemies are kind of shit and it's a literal inventory management nightmare.

But I sort of get it... I do keep getting drawn back to it weirdly.

I loved Death Stranding, boss fights excepted. Sure I'll get around to the sequel at some point in the distant future.

Had fun with the early access release of Menace yesterday, a steep learning curve for a tactical mind as dull as mine but very satisfying when things go right.
