Will the big teams enjoy coming to the King Power next season?

Nice big pitch, no intimidating atmosphere, perfect facilities. Or does it not make a difference? Will be interesting if Burnley get promoted aswell who will have the better home record.

We are also conveniently located for everyone, nobody is going to have a horror journey to the KP, like Newcastle to Southampton.

It depends if we change our tactics too, do we try and play our football at home and continue playing the way we do now, and risk being exposed with our attacking full backs and no DM, or do we go conservative and try and contain the opposition and hit on the break even at home?

Going to be an interesting season for sure, so many possibilities, anyone know how NP approached his relegation survival at Southahmpton? Other than that he hasn't been fighting for survival in his career, neither has he had a transfer budget like he will get...

Exciting times :scarf:  :scarf: :scarf:

Burnley have picked up 42 points at home, we've got 45.

.... transfer budget of between 50m & 150m according to some.

Promotion is worth £63M minimum in prize money and tv receipts (that is finishing bottom and only having the minimum number of games on TV) whether that will all go towards transfers I don't know, but seeing as our operating costs are within FFP, and we don't have huge debts to pay off, I don't see what else they have to spend it on, whether the Thais will invest more of their own money or the predicted earnings from extra ticket sales (but less games) and sponsorship will make a huge impact I don't know, but if NP has anything less than £63M to spend on transfers and wages then I would like to know what it is being spent on.

Soulless bowl stadium playing a Soulless Midland yoyo team nobody cares about and has achieved very little in it's 215+ year history is how most Premier League opposition fans will view us I should imagine. And our hot dogs are rank.

I couldn't really give two shits what they think though.

If we try and play the way we have been (exciting, attacking football) I can see us being popular with the pundits and some neutrals.

Nigel won't spend that unless some serious quality is available.

One thing I like about the guy is you know we won't be doing a Fulham, Cardiff or Norwich and spunking 6-10 million on garbage strikers like Hooper, Corneilus or Mitroglou etc. His spending policy will be the same.as it's always been.

The last big money striker Steve Walsh recommened to a manager was Didier Drogba to Chelsea.

150m mena that serious quality will be available, just depends on whether they fit in the team ethic.

For The way we play hopefully. I somewhat doubt many fans or players will be desperately looking forward to making the trip here though

I absolutely love Leicester as a city, it's my city and I'm proud of it. Don't get the haters personally

It is a bit of a dive in places. Not the worst though.

think you're confusing us and a no hope team like burnley.

when you have shit players your only chance is to say "WELL THESE BIG BOYS, THEY DON'T LIKE IT UP EM!!" but that rarely works anyway. and as it stands we have a good side who don't need to rely on old tricks like a muddy pitch, cold changies or any of that bullshit. ruining the pitch or the ground to make it like a blackpool or a place nobody would want to go would be more detrimental to our home form than having a nice pitch, because we play football too.

I used to love the atmosphere at filbert st, (what can seriously be lacking in the stadium at times now) but, at the same time I used to think that some of the bigger clubs that visited had a feeling of superiority because of how much of a tatty place it was compared to theirs.

In saying that it will be te same as it always was; so long as we perform to the best of our ability on the pitch and the team get the vocal support, no one will fancy it here.

Our stadium is still tatty and inferior, it's just bigger and less lopsided.

It's never going to be known as 'a difficult place to go' but when Millwall is still known as that I couldn't care less.

I just hope we play to win at home and get the crowd in good voice, hopefully we can have some memorable results.
