Guest Col city fan Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 This isnt the first time he has had tests done for his heart. Could we potentially find ourselves in a situation where Pearson is told on medical grounds that being a manager isnt the career choice best suited for him. Imagine the list of managers queueing up at the door to take over at newly promoted leicester (assuming we get promoted which is nailed on i think) Could be a reason he hasnt discussed contract situation Clearly im speculating and im sure he will be fine. Blimey! Speculating is right! He could have been admitted for anything! It's best to not speculate, wait and see and don't try to make assumptions which could be completely untrue. Get well Nigel...
Harry - LCFC Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 Knowing what the words usually mean I was put into a mild panic this morning when I read the words "Club Statement: Nigel Pearson" on the OS. Get well soon Nige. We need you.
Corky Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 Are we sending him cards with pictures of horses on them?
Thameclaret Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 Just wanted to add a quick few comments ahead of the "Match of the Day" Saturday.... 1. I join everyone in wishing Nigel the very best this week. lets hope he is well enough to take his seat in the dugout or stand this Saturday 2. Some great football guys from you're team, lets hope we can hit the Premiership together (One game at a time for us). 3. I really think Saturdays game is very close to call, one thing is for sure, two excellent teams, good football, excellent Managers and I suspect a great atmosphere for everyone.
ozleicester Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 For gods sake Foxtalkers.... lets get this man well...

bluebeau Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 BBC East Midlands News at lunchtime today said that the football club have stated that Nigel should be at the Yeovil game tomorrow, let's hope they are right. Get well soon Nigel.
aefevans Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 Just stopping by because I heard your manager is unwell. Hope things improve and he gets well soon.
DanTheFox07 Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 Let's not rush nigel for 2morrow, Shakespere is more than capable of running the team and the squad is very professional! rather have nigel back for saturday!

Thameclaret Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 Like all other Burnley supporters, I wish him a very speedy recovery and lets hope he is feeling well enough to take his place either in the dug-out or stand. One thing is for sure, there is a very appreciative topic on Clarets Mad for you're Manager Lets hope there is good news ahead of the big match Saturday and not only are the two teams facing each other but two excellent and up and coming Managers. Good luck and lets hope we can meet each other in the Premiership next season
isaidno Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 Are we sending him cards with pictures of horses on them? I remember that for Ken

Foxes Blue Blood Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 3 Points against Yeovil will make him feel better. COYB
The God Emperor Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 it's nothing serious. just the normal sickness that's experienced when making the transition from mortal to God
TrentFox Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 The Sun is reporting chest tightness was the cause. However, this is The Sun. To be fair to The Sun, they do know a thing or two about tight chests.
Bryn Posted 24 March 2014 Posted 24 March 2014 Rubbish. It all depends on the nature of the tests and their urgency. I'm aware of that, given that I'm a doctor A routine echocardiogram is highly unlikely to be done on the Sunday unless he was in atrial fibrillation or something like that, which you can tell from the ECG, they'd do it first thing Monday morning.
