Banks Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 The ground accoustics have been designed to push any sound towards the pitch that's why you don't hear each other unless you're all singing the same song in unison and why the players comment on it being good to everyone's astonishment. People should stop all this "we're better than thou" and just do their own thing. You're rarely going to get the West Stand and the rest of the East Stand on their feet singing just like the filbo main stand, east stand and double decker so stop moaning about it. Is there anyway the acoustics can be changed

CPW22 Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 L/K looked class last night, as did the Wednesday fans. I was in SK1 and thought it was a decent effort, improved on Yeovil which is the main thing. The lack of songs continues to be an issue at times though, it doesn't feel like we aren't reflecting the game on the pitch at times. Anyway, bring on Tuesday night!

All your posts are telling folks to move to these blocks, it's not the be all and end all of atmosphere you know. It's simply not true, but what I am to know, we are all pikey chavs, are we? But makes for a better atmosphere, standing is unnecessary, but makes for a better atmosphere, same for jumping around. We are so worried on here as to what other clubs think and to be brandished tinpot, but I think the lights think looked half decent and it least it was something that the whole ground joins in with.

AndWhat? Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 Union FS section was flat compared to the Charlton game. No where near enough people in the section singing. I just hope the people who weren't singing just bought tickets up there by accident and when we have the proper block next season every single person in the section will know why they are up there. It's never going to grow if the people that have decided to move there don't go for it every single game. If we got every singer that's spread out along the back of the Kop together we could have a really good block of singers. Just to add, L1 looked good last night. Could definitely see that they were going for it, obviously couldn't hear though due to singing constantly.

DennisNedry Posted 5 April 2014 Posted 5 April 2014 I don't see the problem with criticising the kop and Union FS. All I know is that except for one game they've been really quiet and they are trying to bring fans away from L/K (where the only good atmosphere in the ground is generated).

Not trying to nick fans from L and K.Quieter due to number of singers.It's seems that the majority of fans want a lifeless stadium.
