ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 Can't see them selling many of those pinky gk kits My 8 year old daughter wants one. I reckon it'll be quite popular, with young girls at least
HEGGSY Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 What's the fit like Heggsy?Slim fitting imo, bit short on the body but the sleeves are perfect.
Simo86 Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 Slim fitting imo, bit short on the body but the sleeves are perfect. Cheers mate. Reckon I might actually get one this season then! Mad rush to the ground after a pre season friendly in the morning it is then!

promised land Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 Can't see them selling many of those pinky gk kits You'd be surprised, didn't Everton have an away pink shirt a few seasons ago. Not goalkeepers but outfield players. You use to see them in the stands, stick out a fair bit as well.
Glovejoy Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 I have to credit the club this time, the kit looks excellent. I'll definitely be buying one within the next few weeks!
AKCJ Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 To be fair, you're a right spanner if you buy a keeper kit anyway. Even worse if it's 'beetroot pink'.
AKCJ Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 image.jpg It's pretty good. Here's how it looks on GTF Excellent marketing, now we all know what it looks like on your average fan.
KaspianTheLion Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 If anyone of the XXL+ persuasion would post pics or tell us how the bigger sizes fit, that'd be great. Don't wanna order it and have to send it back!
Jordan Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 Disagree. Pink and red would clash so as a complete away team kit they just wouldn't do it.The outfield players and the keeper don't all have to wear home kits at home, or all change strips. If City play at home against a team that wears a black change strip, then our keeper would wear the pink shirt.

Yes, but the point is that we have a home strip (outfield and keeper) and an away strip. Each one should work as a kit on its own, without any clashes between outfield and keeper. If we have to mix and match to avoid clashes with the opposition, then so be it, but if it's to avoid clashes with ourselves then that's pretty stupid planning.
Carl the Llama Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 People need to stop complaining about the pink gk kit. It's not a proper GK jersey if it doesn't have bright colours, so the pink one's a far better effort than the 'stylish' black version. Personally I won't be touching any GK kits until we get the bus-seat design craze back.
Jmw44 Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 Photos on instagram of shirt printing. We've not got curved printing this season it'd seem. and gold numbers dont look too bad.

Jmw44 Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 and an all pink kit vs a red black red combination won't cause too much hassle. by the looks of it its a very vivid pink. kasper wore the sky goalie top a few times at home and not once did the blues clash. fluorescent pink and red don't clash...
Bryn Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 Not a fan of the gold lettering, was looking forward to white.
Master Fox Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 Pretty underwhelmed. The collar and buttons are awful. Nearly as bad the LG massive collar kit.
Matt Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 White letters would look better BUT I do like the 'straight' printing, old school, wasn't really ever keen on curved printing.
