Jamiebux Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 Yes, but the point is that we have a home strip (outfield and keeper) and an away strip. Each one should work as a kit on its own, without any clashes between outfield and keeper. If we have to mix and match to avoid clashes with the opposition, then so be it, but if it's to avoid clashes with ourselves then that's pretty stupid planning. sure I watched a game with Kasper wearing the grey away kit in goal last season!?? Don't think it matters on keepers tops as long as no clashes.
AKCJ Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 White letters would look better BUT I do like the 'straight' printing, old school, wasn't really ever keen on curved printing. I think white letters would only look right if the trim of the kit was also white. Totally agree about the straight printing. I think it looks infinitely better.
JIMMYWILLIS Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 so you don't like the Italy kit??? Collar is the best bit!!!! Not at all.

Exactly what I meant, you just worded it much better than me
Dynamogoon Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 This is the best kit in years. The collar makes it, first one I've considered buying in a long time
65RosesFox Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 sure I watched a game with Kasper wearing the grey away kit in goal last season!?? Don't think it matters on keepers tops as long as no clashes. By the looks of it he was very keen on the kit and wore more times than the outfield players.
DennisNedry Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 If I was a neutral I'd probably like the gold lettering. But I'm a City fan, so the gold lettering looks wrong. Looks like Portsmouth.
RonnieTodger Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 Not a fan of the gold lettering, was looking forward to white. This, we look like Pompey from a few years back. EDIT: Beaten to it ^^^^
Bryn Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 It's not that I think it looks bad, it looks nice enough, it's just that we had the tacky Football League gold lettering for all those years and I was looking forward to sleek, white Premier League lettering like old times.
Ricey Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 White would look a lot better but the gold letting is at least in keeping with the rest of the kit.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 DennisNedry is a bigger troll than his namesake from Jurassic Park
Jace Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 If I was a neutral I'd probably like the gold lettering. But I'm a City fan, so the gold lettering looks wrong. Looks like Portsmouth. Campbell and Nugent makes it even more realistic
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 If I was a neutral I'd probably like the gold lettering. But I'm a City fan, so the gold lettering looks wrong. Looks like Portsmouth. Who is Nuge tugging off?
Jamiebux Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 By the looks of it he was very keen on the kit and wore more times than the outfield players. there we go !! Doesn't matter what colour the keeper kit is as Kasper won't use it!! thanks for finding the pics!!
Jamiebux Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 Tried the new kit on today fitted a lot better!! Really nice collar , bad points are the puma badges haven't been stitched on as previous kits have and they don't look anywhere near as good! Shame as the kit is really smart other than that.
DennisNedry Posted 19 July 2014 Posted 19 July 2014 Got my shirt. It looks better in the flesh than on photos. Overall I'm happy with the kit
john ridley Posted 20 July 2014 Posted 20 July 2014 Anyone else think the buttons won't last the season ?.
Lettsy Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 On the website what's the difference between an l/s shirts and a s/s ??
Langley Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 On the website what's the difference between an l/s shirts and a s/s ?? Ones long sleaved and one is short.
Master Fox Posted 22 July 2014 Posted 22 July 2014 Looking at our kit on the players tonight, I'm putting this shirt down there with LG massive collar and Topps Tiles kit. Truly awfully. Shit kit = Shit season. I'm sorry everyone. We're going down.
