ousefox Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 Favourite player - nobody deserved that goal more than him.
Fox92 Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 I'm not a massive fan of his but he, like the rest of the squad, has had a great season this season completed with a great goal tonight.
dmayne7 Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 He might not be the most talented and has come in for a fair amount of stick from almost everybody over the years, justly so, BUT what a man he is. He's improved no end this year and despite seemingly being usurped by Knocky and Mahrez he's still managed to steal the limelight. To have been with us in our lowest ebb and to have stuck it out after the poor treatment during the Sven era and bouncing back when he was deemed surplus to requirements is fantastic. Seems like a genuine lad who has a real affinity with the club. All these years he's saved up all the power and accuracy from shots in his right foot to unleash it tonight for such a fitting occasion. Clearly its his hidden weapon to dominate the Premier League I love you Lloydy. Arise Sir Lloyd!
M0901 Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 I love the lad, good player, great attitude, wonder goal!
Guest Col city fan Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 He DID play a further part in the season! He scored the Championship winning goal! Well done Lloyd Dyer...
Salieri Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 So chuffed he was the player to net the vital goal, love the man.
CosbehFox Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 He was pretty much Pearson's first signing (alongside Morrison), most brilliant it's him to get the goal. Never disruptive or moaned when he was messed about by successive managers. Kept his head down and showed some loyalty.
Kitchandro Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 Delighted for Lloyd. It's been his best season by far, and it was unlucky that he lost his place, because he's been a big player this year. It's always great to have players who stay with the club for years and experience all the highs and lows.
Kyle_Le_Don Posted 22 April 2014 Author Posted 22 April 2014 To think he's been around through thick and thin! And it was his goal that won us the league! Like the above poster said, couldn't have happened to anyone better... Well done Lloyd - my favorite half stick man
Rushden fox Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 He could have left under Sven but said no...I'm fighting for my place...deserves all he gets...legend!!!
MrSpaM Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 Lloyd has just reached legendary status. What a journey!
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 Love it! So glad he got the goal that clinched it after all the stick he's been getting on here
Stuliasz Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 No player deserves to score that Championship winner more than Lloydy! No player has been so regularly doubted and come up trumps time and time again with important goals. He must get a new contract as he deserves his shot at the Prem.
theessexfox Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 Hopefully Lloyd gets the goal to secure our CL spot next year
The Doctor Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 Lloyd No better out-and-out winger in the division.
pazzerfox Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 It was a masterstroke by Pearson to bring Lloyd on, even though Mahrez was seemingly playing quite well. He's been at the club since Pearson made him one of his first signings way back in 2008. So it was fitting that the only one of his original signings who is left in the squad scored to make us CHAMPIONS.
Kitchandro Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 He could have left under Sven but said no...I'm fighting for my place...deserves all he gets...legend!!! Yep, you have to hand it to him, a lot of players would have accepted the situation.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 He's the fvcking dogs, is our Lloyd, fvck all the haters. Bell ends to a man.
absolutelegend Posted 22 April 2014 Posted 22 April 2014 Awesome. Best player for me in the first half of the season.
