Munshi Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Yeah like West Ham at home on a Monday night on sky ... There will most likely be something riding on that game, every game will be important and I'm sure it'd be sold out.
Happy Fox Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Pretty much every team that comes to our gaff, will sell out our their away end except for maybe the likes of Hull and Burnley but apart from that it will be sold out most games.
Craig Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Pretty sure it was capped at around 22k last time in the Premiership.
Guest Bilo Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 There will be a few games where it doesn't sell out next season, especially if the matchday prices take the piss and we're on Sky. I somehow doubt they'll be queuing round the block to pay £35 on a cold Monday night in December to see us play Stoke or Palace when the game's on TV. It's not all glamour and big games in the Premier League after all. That being said, we'll sell out for the following in my view. Arsenal Chelsea Everton Liverpool Manchester City Manchester United Newcastle Spurs West Ham Aston Villa West Brom Derby if they win the play-offs Southampton That leaves Stoke, Palace, Burnley, Swansea, Sunderland/Norwich, and Hull where we're unlikely to sell out. They're not massive draws to the occasional fans or neutrals and they might not bring huge numbers of fans to us. Leicester v Hull will do well to pull in 28,000 regardless of division unless something massive is riding on it or there are special offers. An average attendance of between 28,000 and 30,000 is what I'd expect in the first season. I'm just hoping the club don't shoot themselves in the foot too much with rip off matchday pricing, it'd be very disappointing to see masses of empty seats at the KP on MOTD.
AKCJ Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 There will most likely be something riding on that game, every game will be important and I'm sure it'd be sold out. Someone like Fulham or Hull at home, even a Saturday 3pm kickoff, will surprise me if it sells out.
Rosieg Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 I probably sound thick but does earlybird mean people who haven't had a ST before or?
davieG Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Capping at 7K is a sure sign that matchday prices will rocket.
jammie82uk Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 I probably sound thick but does earlybird mean people who haven't had a ST before or? Correct early bird = new application

N8 Fox Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Just a question a point to bare in mind, and no I don't care if I start an argument or get the finger pointed that I think i'm a better fan than anyone else (I don't just making a very valid point imo). But should we get relegated (Which I don't think we will) I do hope all those new 7000 fans who for whatever reason havn't had a ST in the past renew the following season. All i'm saying is it's amazing that all these people who couldn't get to games or couldn't afford ST's in the past, well, what's changed? How have you suddenly made more time? Have you suddenly come into money? Simple really. Games in the championship never sell out. Tickets are easy to come by whenever you can make the home games and generally - particularly early in the season - away tickets are readily available for general sale. In the premiership, imagine we'll frequently sell out so from my perspective it's prudent to get a season ticket to guarantee I can always go when I can make it and to have a better chance of away tickets. I live in London and whilst I am fortunate enough to be able to afford to go every week I have other commitments. The more the merrier for me next season providing everyone gets behind the team. It's a fact of life that there will be people with varying levels of support and ability/willingness to attend every week.
Kitchandro Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Even though it almost certainly will be I doubt that very much. We won't have a sell out every match, no chance.
isaidno Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Looks like I'm going to miss out. I go on holiday on Tuesday so can't get down or order online. Had a season ticket for 5 seasons, this season was my first without due to work commitments so gutted
Vicki Vixen Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Just know this is going to be a nightmare for fans that don't live in Leicester trying to ring up to get a ticket. You can do it online
The Year Of The Fox Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 I doubt there will be 7000 new season ticket holders? A lot of people who couldn't afford to go will have to run into money for that to happen. I dunno its amazing how money quite often will 'turn up' now we're PL
Matt Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 I dunno its amazing how money quite often will 'turn up' now we're PL And time, working hours will change. The real reason? Effort will be made by these people. Whether i'm right or wrong saying that (TBH there isn't a right or wrong, it's an opinion) it's factual. And no i'm not saying i'm a better fan or these people don't deserve to go, I'm not a better fan and these people do deserve to go, of course they do, but it doesn't get away from the fact when people say things like, money, time and things will change to allow whatever reason kept these people away for years is true. Unless it's just an amazing coincidence our attendences will rise next season, unfortunately i'm not buying that it's a coincidence. If those same people worry about being stereotyped a glory boy or plastic I think they have the issue more than people apparently accusing people of being one.
suffolk fox Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 I know at least three people who do not even support city are going to buy season tickets at city in order to be able to watch their beloved Man U, Arsenal, Newcastle not necessarily in that order. I can guarantee you now these won't be the only ones. No, we will not sell out 7000 on day one but they will go fairly quickly.

If they want to watch Man U, Chelsea etc they should easily be able to get tickets for their home games in the cup competitions at a fraction of the cost. Either these people are dumb or they are on the wind up.
AdamN Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Bit disappointing given that I may not know if I can get a season ticket until the season has started. Just finishing my third year of uni and I work a job that has to fit around those hours, so I can't guarantee my attendance for any match (unless I have it booked off). It all depends on whether I can get a new job that leaves me with every weekend/evening free. And that would also mean my away points from this season will count for shit. Wonderful!
kingpower84 Posted 3 May 2014 Posted 3 May 2014 Cant see 7000 goin down on tues 9am maybe over 2weeks or so i just think maybe 100 or so people will be outside waiting earlydoors season ticket holders got 4 weeks to renew to keep seats

All i'm saying is it's amazing that all these people who couldn't get to games or couldn't afford ST's in the past, well, what's changed? How have you suddenly made more time? Have you suddenly come into money? There are many reasons why fans which did not have a season ticket this year will purchase one for next season, with the obvious one being because they will be watching premier league football. For example....next season i no longer have to work saturdays, therefore will be free to attend as many games as possible, meaning a season ticket is now a viable option.
mickygib Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 The last time I had a season ticket was when we where in league 1 and I've been to between 5-8 games a season since... Just hope I don't miss out on getting a season ticket. Anyone know if because they have my details and knew id been plenty of times before ill get maybe pushed to tye front of the 7000? Because I recon I should!

Illusion35 Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 I'm getting a season ticket for next season after a few years without while my kids were little. Worked out that I spent more on match tickets this season than a season ticket would have cost! I will renew it regardless of the outcome of next season.
Larry_LCFC Posted 4 May 2014 Posted 4 May 2014 I'll renew once it quietens down. Cba with the inevitable scrum for tickets.
