Corky Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 They've obviously capped season tickets at 22k, we have 14k season ticket holders this season.
promised land Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 They've obviously capped season tickets at 22k, we have 14k season ticket holders this season. I always thought it was closer to 16K this season.
cjslcfc Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 They've obviously capped season tickets at 22k, we have 14k season ticket holders this season. Don't they have to legally sell a certain amount of match tickets separately to STs for each game? So we have to legally cap it?
Ian W LCFC Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 I can guarantee they won't sell out on the first day...
Leicester Lass Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 They've obviously capped season tickets at 22k, we have 14k season ticket holders this season. 16k this season, so capped at 23k.
Bert Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 They've obviously capped season tickets at 22k, we have 14k season ticket holders this season.16,000.
Mark_w Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 I doubt there will be 7000 new season ticket holders?A lot of people who couldn't afford to go will have to run into money for that to happen.
Corky Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 16k this season, so capped at 23k. 16,000. Ah, ok, thanks I'd clearly read an earlier article.
AKCJ Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 I doubt there will be 7000 new season ticket holders? A lot of people who couldn't afford to go will have to run into money for that to happen. Mate, I think you're underestimating the Premier League's appeal. A lot of people won't have got season tickets because they don't want to be paying that much for Championship football.

Leicester Lass Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 We had about 25-26k season ticket holders last time in the Prem, so some people will undoubtedly miss out. Clever from the club, they'll make a lot more money this way.
Matt Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Just a question a point to bare in mind, and no I don't care if I start an argument or get the finger pointed that I think i'm a better fan than anyone else (I don't just making a very valid point imo). But should we get relegated (Which I don't think we will) I do hope all those new 7000 fans who for whatever reason havn't had a ST in the past renew the following season. All i'm saying is it's amazing that all these people who couldn't get to games or couldn't afford ST's in the past, well, what's changed? How have you suddenly made more time? Have you suddenly come into money?
Claridge Posted 2 May 2014 Author Posted 2 May 2014 They should have made them £ 100 dearer which you get back if you renew 2015-2016
Guest MattP Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Why have they capped it? So they can still bring in a shitload on individual match tickets?
StanSP Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Why have they capped it? So they can still bring in a shitload on individual match tickets? Legally they have to. They have to have a certain amount of tickets open to sell individually.
SemperEadem Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Just know this is going to be a nightmare for fans that don't live in Leicester trying to ring up to get a ticket.
Leicester Lass Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Legally they have to. They have to have a certain amount of tickets open to sell individually. Only 5% though. It's capped so they can make more money, can't think of any other reason.
Harry - LCFC Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Only 5% though. It's capped so they can make more money, can't think of any other reason. Thought about it a bit and I agree. We've been selling near to 7000 match tickets in the Championship so they'll expect to get close to that next season. Makes sense for revenues to cap STs and have 7000 match tickets sold rather than, say, 50:50 with STs.
Kitchandro Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 That sounds a pretty shit way to make sure the ground isn't full for several matches.
Bert Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 That sounds a pretty shit way to make sure the ground isn't full for several matches.Even though it almost certainly will be
Hugo Sanchez Posted 2 May 2014 Posted 2 May 2014 Yeah like West Ham at home on a Monday night on sky ...
