87fox Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 In terms of what was advertised, it was badly organised... loads of waiting around without knowing what was happening. No season dvd preview, no interviews etc. Band was crap, as has been said. However,on the plus side shook hands with Vichai, Nige, Wes, Was, Kasper and loads more, and held the trophy. When Lloyd was introduced on stage he smirked when we were all chanting 'sign him up, sign him up' - some of the other players were joining in too! All in all it was good of the club to put the event on and great value for a fiver, despite the bad points outlined above.
Stretters91 Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 anyone esle slightly disappointed with the after party ? by time we got to the after party form the parade we couldnt get a good view or get to the front to get pictures , and we went outside for about hour and half and only saw king ! Just think when they advertised mingle with players / pictures with trophy and pearson , would of like jsut for time with players and pics !

Looks far too dark and night clubby for me. Was there a bar inside?

The trophy celebrations were amazing also, but i ran out of memory after a day of taking movies.

Good to see the players mingling with the crowd and the presentation was good. I noticed Mahrez left early and didn't go up on stage. Anyone know the reason?

Was pretty badly organised, but as other have said, what do you expect with it being last minute after the cancellation of the fight. Didn't get to see any of the players though which was a bit of a disappointment.

Whose a really nice lad and signed summat for my lad so he didnt miss out got a pic with walshy n filbert too aswell as very briefly meeting the owners all in all.. shame didn't get to meet more of the players and waznt as advertised. . But for a fiver you cant complain really

I gather you wasn't outside the reception the whole hour and half as you would have seen Liam Moore, Nigel Pearson also the trophy was brought out so people could have photos with it
iancognito Posted 5 May 2014 Posted 5 May 2014 What are the moans about? 1.) It was only a fiver 2.) Without trying I got Wood, Knocky, Drinky & Kaspers pics/autographs. If you didn't get to see the players or the trophy or Nige or whoever, you didn't try hard enough or go to the right place and even if you didn't it was only a fiver. 3.) It was only a fiver. 4.) It was a small tent with big speakers, so of course the music was loud and blary. What do you want for a fiver? 5.) For a last minute thing they did a good job of getting it advertised, sold in numbers and organised. Had a giggle as the Thais were driving away in their black Topmobile, they were leaning out signing autographs and signed one for Birch who wheeled away shouting "Yesss I got the owner's, I got the owners woohoo!"

Even though I didn't really get to meet any of the players I got what I went for and that was to get my Polish Flag signed by the beast! I can now die a happy man. Dziekuje
