Bert Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 My brothers got his sorted, ended up ringing up. Under 1000 left.
stripeyfox Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 Why do they have to use an 0844 number? Terrible when you're charged every time you're kicked off because the lines are at capacity, then charged a small fortune if you do actually ever get through and put in the queue. Cost £12 in phone calls on top of the ticket price to get my friend a Donny ticket. Any reason they can't use a local number, or are they that desperate to fleece the fans? It can only be to earn money for the club. Larger organisations such as banks etc with multiple call centres use them with the justification that it allows them flexibility to route calls to different centres using the same 0845 number. It is harder to see any justification in LCFC's case, as I presume all the calls are handled at the stadium. They simply make money out of it and it is a complete p1ss take. It wouldn't be so bad if it was a fixed fee for the call, but I never seem to be able to work out what my mobile company is charging me for calls anyway so it is a bit of a pain
stripeyfox Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 My brothers got his sorted, ended up ringing up. Under 1000 left. Wow. Glad I made my move on Tuesday (as I was able to "extract" myself from work). Would not have been able to go to the stadium yesterday or today, nor spend all day watching a flippin website or hanging on the phone!
MGLCFC Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 Bore off. Just saying it would be nice to have 22000 season tickets holders no matter what league we are in.
StanSP Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 For those using phones, you can get apps on your phone to search for the landline number which is linked to the 0844 number. Obviously saves you some amount of money! Think there's an app called 'Say No To...'. Quite handy.
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 Championship football is a less attractive product then premier league football, it's as simple as that.
kingcarr21 Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 just got mine and my brothers season tickets off the website. Was in the queue for about an hour and got them straight away no hassle. SK3 row B So happy. Now i have a job where im home everyday i will always have a season ticket no matter what league were in UP THE FOXES
Tincy Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 What do I have to take with me to do the direct debit scheme??

Obviously saves you some amount of money! Think there's an app called 'Say No To...'. Quite handy. Not sure if it's on iPhone but on Android there's an app called WeQ4U which finds the number which will use your allowance of minutes instead and also stays in a queue for you so you don't have to waste any minutes in a queue if you don't have unlimited minutes. Good app
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 What do I have to take with me to do the direct debit scheme?? Means of paying a deposit, bank account and sort code.
Tincy Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 Means of paying a deposit, bank account and sort code. So no id or bills within the last three months??
davieG Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 The queue for new Season Tickets at the City Fanstore will close at 12.30pm today, with a sell out likely this afternoon.
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 So no id or bills within the last three months?? I did mine over the phone, it was just a case of giving my account details and paying the deposit by debit card.
stripeyfox Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 I did mine over the phone, it was just a case of giving my account details and paying the deposit by debit card.No. It is not a credit agreement or loan. You will have paid 3 x instalments at least before a ball is kicked so you'll be in credit, as it were. If you don't keep up the payments, they just block you ticket so you can't get into the game! As previously said, it is a simple and effective scheme, which makes it all the more confusing why it is not available onlineEdit: Sorry - quoted the wrong post, but hopefully they will get the message

Good appThanks for that, just downloaded on iPhone, but of course the LCFC number is not in their database. So just have to carry on being ripped off I suppose. Not looking good for getting my brother a ticket. Glad mine is already on hold
StanSP Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 Just got about 20. 3 are for myself/family. The others I'm gonna sell for profit.
Churchill Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 So when this 7k sells out that's it? No more available for new applicants after June 2nd?
Thefoxman Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 Just got about 20. 3 are for myself/family. The others I'm gonna sell for profit. Seriously 20?
lestajigs Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 So when this 7k sells out that's it? No more available for new applicants after June 2nd? If current st don't renew, then I think they will release some more
Thefoxman Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 Stan. Behave yourself, you're upsetting people Not upsetting me was hoping to buy one
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 8 May 2014 Posted 8 May 2014 Championship football is a less attractive product then premier league football, it's as simple as that. Thus it comes down to why people go... to watch Leicester City or to watch Premier League football. You can't begrudge that as the majority go to watch Leicester City they'd rather be surrounded by other people doing the same than some of these people that are there for the 'product'.
