Big_Nige Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Original plastic - 1994 (the first prem adventure) Although I was only 11. Missed the 2005/2006 season (moved out of home and was skint) Back as a SH 2006/2007 and have been ever since. So 19 out of 20 years. Not too bad.
MikeyT Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Got me and my girlfriend season tickets this morning in SK3.
harpendenfox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Vicki Vixen, on 07 May 2014 - 3:19 PM, said:Out of interest, why G1? Never understood why this block is priced higher than the JTT blocks for basically the same view. I wanted JTT, but couldn't get a block of 5 together for family and friends when I booked my tickets this morning. Thus had to settle for the more expensive G1. I was in A1 a lot last season. Like the view, and the fact that we always won when I sat there - a record that might have been threatened come August I dare say......
Nick Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Just going to say the same. Hopefully with a sob story and profile of each individual mate. On the off-chance that's a plastic reference, I don't have a sob story - I don't think there is anything wrong with simply not wanting to go to every home game because you enjoy participating in/watching other sports. I do admire the commitment though of those who come from miles away, week in week out. I just don't bloody want to now in preference to doing something else I love. The Levein years broke me. Where was I when we were shit? I was there. If you meant it in more of an X Factor Sob story vein, we usually swap tickets to keep people happy if they really want to see certain matches though we don't accept bereavement, single parent struggles or bullying as viable reasons. I think we will swap Palace with Villa though - good shout.
Burmesefox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 P1 row U. season ticket holder for years and member back in the 80s. Missed a few seasons when my kids were too young to attend but still attended a few matches each season during that period. I'll be renewing when the phones go quieter.
Narborough_fox Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 First year was the last time we were in the Prem under Adams (plastic).G2er I am.
Deucalion Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 First stint from around 1993 until until 2003. This time from 2005 and will renew for next year at some point before June 2nd. Some pointless statistics: 10 years at Filbert Street. 9 Years at new stadium. ( which is how I still think of it, even though I have had a season ticket there for 9 years) 6 Seasons in the PL. 1 Year in League One. 12 Years in the second division. 3 Years buying tickets on the day. (1990 until 1993) 2 Years non-attendance from 2003 until 2005.
chapero82 Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 I used to go sk right behind the goal as I used to go in the south tier stand at filbert street but I've got a ticket this year at at A2 I hope it's a good view does anybody know what it's like?

BoyJones Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Renewed this morning in SK2, got to ground at 830, sorted by 1145. About a two hour wait once you are in the shop, Had to go as needed another ST for missus, she goes down now and again, but I had banned her for years as she didn't jump up when Iwan scored his third goal against the rams back in 94. The rest of the ground was obviously going radio. Mellowed now that I am retirement age.
Matt Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Me, can't remember when I had my first but it was a few years ago maybe 7 or 8 years ago, when I go to renew I might ask if it's on the system actually. I didn't renew until probably 30 minutes before renewals closed last year because I wasn't sure whether I should renew or not considering they put my ticket up by nearly £100 (Despite marketing renewals as 'frozen') I was abit peeved about it but did decide to renew, best decision I made!
rico Posted 7 May 2014 Posted 7 May 2014 Was season ticket holder in Main Stand / Carling Stand 92-99,then kids got born so could only attend random games through til 2009. Had ST in N Block since 2010,relocated to J3 this season just gone
