WinslowFox Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 This Arsenal result is pretty good for us as it means the race for third is still on, If Utd beat Arsenal next Sunday then they will be level on points with Arsenal heading into the midweek game against Sunderland knowing they need to win and Utd possibly thinking that if they turned up at Hull and got 3 points on the last day they might still be in with a shout for 3rd
Tielemans63 Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Looks like Bournemouth are next seasons Burnley then with Monday Night Bournemouth. Aka the Eddie Howe show. "So eddie do you do a Burnley and stick with the same players or a Leicester". Oh right... There was me thinking Burnley signed at least 9 fecking players. Yep, it's not like they didn't spend anything, they just invested exceptionally badly on 10 new players. Interesting how all of their transfer fees were 'undisclosed' according to Wikipedia - I can see why: Michael Kightly - must have cost at least £1 million if not 2 George Boyd - £3 million according to some sources Marvin Sordell - nominal fee - £3 million depending what you read Steven Reid - Free Matt Taylor - Free Lukas Jutkiepolishfella - £2 million Matt Gilks - Free Stephen Ward - £1 million Michael Keane - Must have been at least £1.5 million Some Swedish fella on a free. They must've spent between £8 million and £14 million on utter shite there. Some of those will be on decent wages too. That's appalling recruitment. The Ginger Mourinho? The Ginger Megson more like.

Fairly certain Megson is the ginger Megson.
Tielemans63 Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Fairly certain Megson is the ginger Megson. Yeah that was a joke. Not a very good one mind!
Gerard Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Anyone know the differance between finishing 2nd, 3rd or 4th regarding Champions League qualification?
WinslowFox Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Anyone know the differance between finishing 2nd, 3rd or 4th regarding Champions League qualification 4th you have to play a qualifier, I am pretty sure 2nd and 3rd go straight into group stages, this result is perfect for us
Tielemans63 Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Anyone know the differance between finishing 2nd, 3rd or 4th regarding Champions League qualification? 4th has to play a qualifying playoff before getting in to the group stage. 2nd and 3rd go straight in I think.

lgfualol Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 He said he will go with the core of the team because they got them there. I imagine them start off the season like we did until they get found out or something.
Guest ttfn Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Just looking at those fixtures on SKY next weekend - they've got 4 games and are somehow managing to show 0 teams with anything to play for.

Corky Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Our result against Swansea shouldn't be underestimated, their only defeat in 7 matches (5 wins) and the only team below West Brom to beat them in a home match.
Tielemans63 Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 I'm increasingly confident that we'll win the Premier League next season.
Guest bss9401 Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 The Swansea result also means that Spurs need points to ensure that they get into the Europa league.
RowlattsFox Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 Garry monk has done fantastically well and probably not got the credit he deserves. Not spent a great deal and lost his main man in January.
weller54 Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 The Swansea result also means that Spurs need points to ensure that they get into the Europa league. That's the problem.. I think they're avoiding qualifying!!!

Callabinho Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 How has Fernando Gago made the Argentina squad, but Cambiasso hasn't?
Narborough_fox Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 How has Fernando Gago made the Argentina squad, but Cambiasso hasn't? Dunno if this is serious or not but if it is Cambiasso retired in 2011.
Dan Posted 11 May 2015 Posted 11 May 2015 I thought Swansea were better than Southampton personally against us. Definitely looked more threatening. I don't remember Southampton having a single chance from inside the box. Speaking of Champions League qualification... aren't we meant to be in a bit of bother if Juventus win the Champions League? We're in danger of losing our 4th spot. Thank **** for Chelsea in 2012 eh?

You may be about to spark a debate about how the Champions League should only be contested between each domestic champion, and the runners up(s) shouldn't be in it. Somebody come and get me if it kicks off
