NP And His Staff

Recommended Posts

I know i started this post but this is taking far too long.It makes me start to worry if we have the right D of Football esp with the situation with DN.When you watch the End of Season DVD you realise just how many chances DN created for Vardy et al.The fixtures come out next week and we still have no coaching staff!!!!!

Not enough abbreviations for my liking.

It should be a big week. If NP doesnot sign b4 his contract is up we have a BIG problem.Promotion was weeks ago and the club knew his contract was up the delay is stupid. Robinson seems a complete idiot and now it seems there is a problem with Nuge.If this is not sorted soon it may make Kasper think again.GET IT SORTED!!

Disagree about Robinson. We were losing millions, we need someone to sort proper contracts out at the correct rates. Looks like he has done a decent job up until now.

The facts will be:

1 Pearsons demands will be massively inflated

2. We won't want to risk long contracts in case it does not work out.

3. This is the important point. I can't see anyone in the Championship offering more than us. I can't see anyone in the Prem wanting to take the risk of an unproven Prem manager.

So point 3 should mean we will keep him, but at terms close to what we want.

The issue will come if he does well and other premier clubs come looking. Time then for us to renegotiate.

How can he if he is out of contract on June 30th?, this doesn't look good if the information you are providing is true..

Once he is out of contract you may find clubs move for him.

Clubs in the championship could afford him as being a proud man he feels he deserves more now he has put us in the prem.

He may be happy to match his current wage if he stepped back down.

As for Robinson I would be suprised if he has anything to do with management contracts.

More like Susan and Top would be dealing with this not some middle man.

He would not be anywhere near it if it was my club.

The manager is the most critical position and should be sorted from the top.

The DoF should not be sat above the manger IMHO.

Sorting your new contract with a DoF would piss most managers off.

For one of the most successful managers LCFC has ever had, the owners should be doing everything they can to get him and his backroom staff new contracts. We wouldn't be where we are without them.

How do you know they're not?

Given that this is one of Robinsons main jobs (sorting contracts) i think you are very wrong.

Stop worrying man, it will happen.

Another week and still no solution. Where do people think the problem lies; NP and staff wanting too much money or the club not wanting to invest too much in manager and team untested at prem level. When NP came form Hull it didnot take either party long to make up their minds and now with a superb chance for both club and manager their f*****g about.

If he doesn't do WHATEVER it takes to get Nige signed up then Robinson's head should roll. There'd be riots outside the stadium if the club let him walk away!

This is dragging on a bit..

Pearson is in Thailand on holiday....

Right, likes it out there does he?  lol Just would've thought they may have got it all sorted before 2 weeks until his contract is up, that's all. Obviously still very confident he'll be our manager in a month's time.

I noticed NP was asked about the fixtures so he must be back from holiday and still no contract agreed.Who do people think is at fault the club,or NP?.NP says he would walk away from a player who was being greedy so do the club need to look for another manager?I find it odd that there is no info from the club despite there being only one week left on his contract !!!

Really.

Player contracts maybe.

Or would you put a Dof as more important than the club manager.

If thats the way the owners want to run it thats there choice.

Personally the managers contract should be way above the DoF.

Praps why this has not been sorted.

So while Robinson is at it when will he sack the manager?

I do not know why people are getting in such a flap. Our younger, more important players are signing 4 year contracts. I have a feeling that Nige will already have signed or has as good as signed on for that length.

Also do you really think he would have been alowed to sign players albeit on a free, if he and the club were not confident he was going to be the manager next season?

Don't be surprised if those quotes are the work of a club journo.

You would think the LM would have some ITK info , and what happens at the end of next week when his contract expires and he no longer employed by LCFC.No comments or interviews. The situation is pathetic its not as if the club or NP were unaware of this.

We wouldn't be where we are now if it wasn't for the owners, either. Don't forget that fact.

And? Just because someone's done well doesn't mean you can't have your opinion on how something should be done differently.
