Guest MattP Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 I'd be devastated if we lost any of the staff we currently have. Clearly all have a job to do and they do it very well. Losing Walsh, Shakey or NP could be disastrous. Their signatures are more important than any player.

cc_star Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 Contracts will be sorted I am pretty certain of that. The issue for me is is Craig Shakespeare was to want to try his hand at management. NP did mention it last season that they have discussed it between them, and if he goes it could upset the balance. The whole management team is important, with Little, Gregory and Evans being a great example. We then had O'Neill, Robertson and Walford. Both of these set ups suffered when one of them left, highlighting the importance of a good set up of different personalities and skill sets. So for me, when NP mentioned that one day Shakespeare may want to realise his ambitions, a little alarm bell went off. Would surely get more opportunity after a successful spell in the Premier League? Also who's to say it won't be as our No1 should NP need to take a back seat a tad further away from the heart pumping action
jock2612 Posted 20 May 2014 Author Posted 20 May 2014 As i say i hope this is sorted soon BUT i still think it odd that the Mercury talks about players contracts but NEVER talks about NP and his staff, there is also nothing form Stringer or the club.NO action is worrying!!!
