Well if they contract is sorted, why don't they just announce it now?

 

I can't think of any real reason to delay an announcement - the season is over, the new season tickets have all been sold. The squad has come back from Thailand. I can't think of a good reason why delaying an announcement would bring better PR.

 

Clearly, the reason why it hasn't been announced is because it hasn't been signed, and the reason why it hasn't been signed is because it hasn't been agreed.

 

I'm confident it will be sorted, but there must still be negotiations ongoing, even if it's just small details.

One big press release Get Nige his back room staff the new players and the re signing players all together.

 

All done in one day would look great back home for top and co.

THIS IS GETTING STUPID !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I THINK THIS WILL START TO HAVE AN IMPACT ON ANY NEW PLAYERS NP WANTS IF THEY ARE UNSURE IF HE IS STILL GOING TO BE CHARGE.I WANT NP TO LEAD US INTO THE PREM BUT IF HE IS DEMANDING SILLY WAGES THEN WE NEED TO MOVE NOW.DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THE DELAY IS BECAUSE NP IS ON HOLIDAY?

Really hard to hear you mate, sorry. I think hes just trying to avoid a january sacking by raising the cost of them paying him off. And hes on holiday I think. He deserves security.

I think it will be done today all the club reps will be in that prem league shareholders meeting tomorrow, to receive their premier league certificates from the relegated teams, and go through the rules and regulations for next season etc.

The AGM takes place at the close of each season, at which time the relegated clubs transfer their shares to the clubs promoted into the Premier League from the Football League Championship.

Clubs have the opportunity to propose new rules or amendments at the Shareholder meeting. Each Member Club is entitled to one vote and all rule changes and major commercial contracts require the support of a two thirds vote, or 14 clubs, to be agreed.

The Premier League Rule Book serves as a contract between the League, the Member Clubs and one another, defining the structure and running of the competition.

Nigel has his priorities - the players must sign first. He will sign his contract once the current out-of-contract players situations are settled. He is going to stay. There has never been any indication to state otherwise... both club and Pearson have stated their ambitions for next season, and as you mentioned, they're already progressing with building the squad.

Steve walsh was a legend and does punditry when and co runs a soccer academy.

I know i started this post but this is taking far too long.It makes me start to worry if we have the right D of Football esp with the situation with DN.When you watch the End of Season DVD you realise just how many chances DN created for Vardy et al.The fixtures come out next week and we still have no coaching staff!!!!!
