Jimothy Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Johnson is chronic, is the only alternative Jones? Smalling
foxfanazer Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 No what your saying as as the closest thing we have to a world class player he should take the brunt of the stick for not standing out because he is the one that is most likely to, which is not right and not a reason to drop him. Admittedly he doesn't look the most interested sometimes, but again that's a critisem you could level at plenty of England players. He certainly shouldn't be dropped. Agree to disagree then? I think he should take more stick. There are players in that squad that would kill for his talent which I'm not doubting he has. His application is pathetic for a player of his quality imho. I don't think he should be dropped instantly either but unless he starts performing why is he a shoe in for England?

He does take stick, plenty, whenever he we don't well he's normally the first to get it in the neck. He's not, if others around him do a job consistently yeah drop him but the truth is they've all been as bad as each other he just get's the worst of it because people expect better.

I do agree that there are so many England players over the last 10-15 years that should be ashamed of how poor we've been in our so called "Golden generation"
theessexfox Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Smalling Oh dear, I'd play Milner there as it stands.
Jimothy Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Oh dear, I'd play Milner there as it stands. Any chance of Gary Neville coming out of retirement?
Unabomber Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 It's a shame Milner isn't a rb, that being said I world probably rather see him there than Johnson.
wakeyfox01 Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Gerrard constantly trying and failing with Hollywood passes as usual
Guest kristianity77 Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 The goal aside, England have been absolutely awful. Welbeck does nothing but try and take the world on and fail. Rooney again is totally anonymous. Johnson is bombscare. I bet Italy are cacking it....
tetly Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 I've hot Johnson and Rooney in my stating 11 for the World Cup, watching them tonight I'd swap Rooney for sterling and Johnson and jones
James. Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Pretty much a carbon copy of nearly every single England game I've seen at Wembley. The crowd, the quality of the football, the fvcking ITV commentary and that bastard brass band.
foxfanazer Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Sterling's already had more of an impact than Rooney!
Unabomber Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Tipping out at that goalkeeping, he literally bonked it on his head.
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 That's 3-0. So expecting the conversation to turn from how terrible we are to how we're going to lift the World Cup at any moment.
foxfanazer Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Getting out of our group will be a huge achievement!
Unabomber Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 That's it Roy shut up shop we've got this in the bag.
