Beliall Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 I know they struggle to shift home tickets now but that's a disgraceful policy. Just reduce the prices if they really want to see people turn up. How much is a ticket for an england game at wembley? Friendly or qualifier.
Guest MattP Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 How much is a ticket for an england game at wembley? Friendly or qualifier. My last qualifier was 4-5 years ago and was about 60 quid. Think friendlies are about half that but personally I wouldn't watch to one if I had a free ticket.
Beliall Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 Thats disgusting pricing. I fancy taking the kids to one , one day but thats shocking.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 29 May 2014 Posted 29 May 2014 How much is a ticket for an england game at wembley? Friendly or qualifier. if you ever want tickets (upto about 5) let me know. We're always after people to use them so we don't have to go. We get £5 off so to sit up in the gods its £25 a go.
Grandad. Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Just me who's quite looking forward to this? I'm interested, interested to see how he starts! I really hope we wipe the floor with Peru.
Manwell Pablo Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Before every tournament we play a send off game at Wembley. God some of you lot can't wait to have a moan about the national side, money and whatever else is possible. Correct, we play farewell friendlies every tournament, and most other teams do as well. Any excuse for a moan though I guess! Plus we're playing Ecuador and Honduras in Miami next week I think, two teams who have qualified from the same regions as two of our group opponents.
AndWhat? Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 The new away membership scheme details are out now. You used to get 2 caps (priority points) for an away game and 1 cap for a home game. After the WC they're giving 1 cap per away gane and 2 per home game. Getting desperate to keep the ground full Arseholes That's shameless. But nothing shocks me any more with our FA.
Swarles Barkley Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 I would go with Hart Johnson cahill jagielka baines Gerrard Henderson Sterling Rooney Lallana Sturridge 4-0 win. Sturridge rooney, sterling and lambert from the bench
Dan Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 I'm quite looking forward to it too actually. Intrigued to see how exactly we line up and play. Seriously, attack these. They're nothing special.
SystonFox Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 My last qualifier was 4-5 years ago and was about 60 quid. Think friendlies are about half that but personally I wouldn't watch to one if I had a free ticket. Depends where you sit I suppose. I sat in the gods for a qualifier against Montenegro (0-0 bore, Kevin Davies debut cap) and it was £30. £30 too much if you ask me
Pride_Of_The_Midlands Posted 30 May 2014 Author Posted 30 May 2014 Hart Johnson Cahill Jagielka Baines Gerrard Henderson Lallana Rooney Welbeck Sturridge Lallana on the right
Jimothy Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Only bad point is Welbeck. Otherwise I like the team. If you're playing that formation then at least Rooney and Sturridge are in the right roles. Would have Sterling for Welbeck though.
Simmo86 Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Should be Sterling for Welbeck but otherwise spot on Roy.
ScouseFox Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Should be Sterling for Welbeck but otherwise spot on Roy. very scared he's not going to start sterling in brazil
Jimothy Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Should be Sterling for Welbeck but otherwise spot on Roy. Let's be honest it should be half this forum before Welbeck.
Unabomber Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Got in the car after work and the first thing I heard on the radio was that Welbeck was starting, I nearly just ended it there and then and drove in to a tree. Composed myself enough to make it home and vent my anger here though.
Corky Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Welbeck has got 8 goals in 21 matches, not the worst record. Ok, Sterling might be the better option but he does well for Roy.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 30 May 2014 Posted 30 May 2014 Meh, Welbeck hasn't played much for United but he'll be needed at some point during the tourny, with more warm up games to come it's not the end of the world that he's starting tonight. Get his sharpness up. I expect Sterling to start over him against Italy.
