Have put this in the World Cup 2014 pages co's he's doing my fvcking head in more than ever and it's only the pre WC friendlies.

Is it me or is he the shittiest football presenter going?

Gonna avoid ITV as much as possible during the tournament co's he is seriously doing my complete and utter nut in.

Please ITV get rid of this total bell-end from our footie screens. He was bad enough at Champions League games but PLEASE, I can't do a whole WC listening to his drivel and shit.

he doesn't bother me, because I don't watch him. It's the same with all the pundits, I watch the game and go do something else at half time. I've no interest in watching Alan Hansen and Mark Lawrenson play high tec subbuteo.

Other than the main commentator ITV are using (His name escapes me) the whole bunch of pundits are as crap as can be. Townsend, Dixon, Wright and Hoddle along with the aforementioned Chiles are absolutely diabolical.

Hansen and Lawrensen, for me, are a lot easier to relate to but to be honest I would even/rather have Claire Balding presenting the WC than these d1cks.

For me, this sums up ITV's coverage in nutshell......it went something like this, (Ian Wright) "Yea, when they come over here, it's almost Biblical." (Adrian Chiles) "Errr, we're talking about the storms now right Ian?"

At times, during the Ecuador game, according to ITV's experts, we we're playing Colombia in Rio!?

Stringer and Youngy could do a better job!

Dixon and Hoddle are giving some interesting insights but Ian Wright is only repeating what Hoddle says. For once i'm going to say I'm missing Roy Keane.

Yeh he's an embarrassment, what's wrong with using an actual presenter like Jim Rosenthal and not this clown?

ITV are just a Mickey Mouse channel, sometimes it's plain amateurish. The two main commentators knowledge on football, both historical & technical, is pitiful; and the same can be said for most of the pundits. Townsend in particular is a disgrace.

Dixon, Hoddle, Southgate & Cannavaro will at least be redeeming features whilst BBC blot their copybook with Rio Ferdinand and Robbie Savage.

Oh well, you have to take the rough with the smooth I suppose, the World Cup is all about the TV coverage, memorable for right or wrong reasons.

lee dixon just forgot who he was talking about, gave a description of him and how he plays and still nobody knew who he was talking about. that sorta sums it up really.

I was fuming when he got the MOTD2 job and am still fuming now. Ridiculous. Jobs for the flippin boyos or something. Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh. Can you smell gas?

It's a huge crime against the broadcasting of the sport in this country that James Richardson never landed a proper big gig with the BBC or iTV. Genuinely entertaining, witty, knowledgeable and able to string sentences together.

He's a brilliant anchor, some of the stuff Chiles comes out with makes me feel patronised.

chiles doesn't bother me too much, however the biggest bell-end award in tv commentary goes to andy townsend, complete and utter garbage comes out of his mouth, he is so bloody biased its untrue, and no matter how bad England play, he will always try and make out we are playing the best football ever

Townsend speaks as if international football, friendlies in particular, is the very top level if football and warm games against Ecuador and Honduras are the pinnacle for players' careers.

He also states the obvious soooo much. "I think he's just tried to bend that into the top corner there, Clive." Or when Ronaldo scored his under the wall freekick against a Bayern he was trying to tell us that Ronaldo meant it and he didn't in fact scuff it.

I just hate the way Chiles always has to try and make a joke about any issue or make a light-hearted quip about it. Fails almost everytime.

Luckily, when England play I will be in the pub so I won't have to listen to the willy puller and any other game I will just turn on at kick off so I can be spared, saying that I bet he won't present many of the 'lesser' games, so there is that bonus.

Awful man, serious question, anyone know how long his contract with ITV is? I can't see them renewing.

Looks like we're stuck with him for football :( (see last sentences for ITV).

ITV already have Matt Smith in the wings so they've no excuse. One day we will have to suffer a football match with Peter Reid, Peter Schmeichel and Ian Sh*te. That will be the proverbial straw
