XLM Posted 12 June 2014 Share Posted 12 June 2014 Other premiership clubs being interested is a good thing. He's in the form of his life at the moment by the looks of his stats - 51 goals in 2 seasons. Could prove a very good signing.

shen Posted 12 June 2014 Share Posted 12 June 2014 Pretty sure he's Italian, not Argentinian. I remember him from his days at AZ where he was just a mediocre player in a mediocre league. He's had a couple of good seasons, but like Nugent, quite a high percentage of his goals come from penalties. £8mil seems very steep for a player who's 28 and who's only had two good seasons. Chill. He's not the next Lineker or anything. I get the feeling a few on FT are just eager for NP to splash the cash. I really don't hope the quoted figure is anywhere near that if NP is indeed interested...
