If one of them gets injured or suspended, we have no backup options left. On top of that, we know knocky and Mahrez both like to drift into the middle, and it's quite possible that at times we'll set up as a 451, so a winger to take the place of one of those two would be needed. Not to mention the fact that all of our wingers are predominantly right sided, so a left winger would be very useful. I wouldn't be surprised if this rumour comes to fruition.

We also have Jeff who can play wide of needed, and depending on what formation we play we may see nuge or vardy play wide. We may also see no wingers at all if we go 5-3-2 which a few teams seems to be reverting back to. I just think a winger is priority at he moment.

Moreover, we haven't replaced Dyer yet, unless you consider Mahrez or Albrighton as anticipatory replacements.

Robin JD Popley Posted 29 June 2014 Posted 29 June 2014 Was very impressed with the Bosnia & Herzegovina squad this year; thought they were very unlucky to not progress further. As well as Visca, their midfield as a whole were very good. Shame their Number 8, Miralem Pjanic, plays for AS Roma. He looked a class above.

kingfox Posted 29 June 2014 Posted 29 June 2014 He looks similar to Gabor Bori. Muhamed Besic though, looked very good for Bosnia, only downside is his age, would we want another young central midfielder alongside Drinkwater & James, probably not.

Loan him out to a team who can utilise him as a key player at left back get him training in that position , playin in the position without the fear of screwin up coz lets face it.... If he ballsed up next season all you lot wud say is he needs to be sold , hes shit , out of his depth etc etc

Babylon Posted 1 July 2014 Posted 1 July 2014 I retract what I said about us buying a 4th choice squad filler. We could lose Mahrez to the African cup of nations, so we might need a bit more than that. Never seen this chap play.
