Bayfox Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 Galloway and wasyl. You need not name anymore. Those two would literally ruin sides.
bluebeau Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 Bobby Kellard, he took no prisoners! Definitely Bob Hazel, he frightened the fkg life out of the opposition! What is the name of the German midfielder we had? I liked him as a player, he was a real tough tackler. He is assistant manager at an English football club, can't remember his name.
Sunbury Fox Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 Steffan Freund is the man you are talking about. For me the hardest player we've had in my lifetime is Taggart. Not showman hard but proper hard.
Grewks Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 Wayne Brown? Since when do you become hard just because you're a racist? Was has got to be up there....1. Due to his size and 2. Is it just me, or are the majority of polish people I meet extremely quiet ect.? Cannot tell whether they are timid, or proper Psycho's.
MPH Posted 1 August 2014 Posted 1 August 2014 I ask was asked at work today to name a team of Leicester's hard men and came up with the following who would be in your team of all-time City hardmen 1 - Kevin Pressman 2 - Gary Coatsworth 3 - Ben Thatcher 4 - Gerry Taggart 5 - Steve Walsh 6 - Paul Ramsey 7 - Neil Lennon 8 - Mick Galloway 9 - Frank Large 10 - Jari Rantanen 11 - Danny Tiatto There are others Marcin Wasileski, Gregor Stevens, Robbie Nielson, Robbie Savage, Bob Hazel, Derek Dougan, David Speedie etc. you'd have to replace coatsworth with Wasilewski for me. Coatsworth looses hard points for that silly tash he used to have...
Foxes1 Posted 2 August 2014 Author Posted 2 August 2014 you'd have to replace coatsworth with Wasilewski for me. Coatsworth looses hard points for that silly tash he used to have... Yeah but Coatsworth picked up points for the way he cleanedTommy Johnstone up in the early minutes of the play-off final against Direby Galloway for the way he wound Duncan Ferguson up so much he got him sent-off.
Foxes1 Posted 2 August 2014 Author Posted 2 August 2014 Appleton, King, Norman, Cross, Sjoberg, Rodriguez, Rofe, Walsh, Taggart, Gibson, Chalmers, Revie, sep Smith, Nish, lockhead. Bobby Roberts,(next to Gibson, my idols at the time) special mention for Mike Stringfellow, an English player if it wasnt for 12 seasons of injury, the 1st bionic man without new joints, but pinned and rivetted more than any battleship, and god could he take the knocks, but there was always, that One knock too many. Its not just players that can dish it out also, one that could stand upto and ride the bruisers Glover, Sinclair, Goodfellow, Whitworth. Robbie Savage, was mr nice compared to the above. Now there's a name from the past Len 'CHOPPER, Chalmers
Nick Posted 2 August 2014 Posted 2 August 2014 Joe Mattock He only hits women, he only hits women, WOMEN Mattock, sort her out, Mattock Mattock sort her out.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 2 August 2014 Posted 2 August 2014 Wayne Brown? Since when do you become hard just because you're a racist? Racist or not he was still a hard bastard
NewquayFox Posted 2 August 2014 Posted 2 August 2014 Robbie Savage..... Ha haaa haaaaaa haaaaaaa, feckin 'whirling dervish' not fit to lace Steve Kember or Bobby Kellards boots......
MPH Posted 2 August 2014 Posted 2 August 2014 Yeah but Coatsworth picked up points for the way he cleanedTommy Johnstone up in the early minutes of the play-off final against Direby Galloway for the way he wound Duncan Ferguson up so much he got him sent-off. kicking 7 bales of hay out of a 4 ft ginger idiot still doesn't qualify as hard... sorry!!!
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 2 August 2014 Posted 2 August 2014 Sep Smith- (ankle tapper); Len (chopper) Chalmers; Derek (cruncher) Dougan
Karljohn Posted 2 August 2014 Posted 2 August 2014 Jamie Lawrence was a tough guy, did time before he played for us. Steve Agnew was another beast.
Thracian Posted 2 August 2014 Posted 2 August 2014 I ask was asked at work today to name a team of Leicester's hard men and came up with the following who would be in your team of all-time City hardmen 1 - Kevin Pressman 2 - Gary Coatsworth 3 - Ben Thatcher 4 - Gerry Taggart 5 - Steve Walsh 6 - Paul Ramsey 7 - Neil Lennon 8 - Mick Galloway 9 - Frank Large 10 - Jari Rantanen 11 - Danny Tiatto There are others Marcin Wasileski, Gregor Stevens, Robbie Nielson, Robbie Savage, Bob Hazel, Derek Dougan, David Speedie etc. Frank Large was a sight to see. In full flight he'd leave bodies lying about him like so much flotsom and jetsam writhing in a mud-pond.
Guest bss9401 Posted 2 August 2014 Posted 2 August 2014 Another for Ali Mauchlen. If he did hit his wife he is a tw*t of a high order but he was a hard tw*t on the pitch.
Aus Fox Posted 3 August 2014 Posted 3 August 2014 Peter Shilton Frank Sinclair Steve Walsh Gerry Taggart Ben Thatcher Ali Mauchlen Dennis Wise Mick Galloway Danny Tiato Iwan ROberts David Speedie
bluebeau Posted 3 August 2014 Posted 3 August 2014 I M O David Speedie wasn't 'hard', he was just a dirty cheating bastard!
